I volunteer at the Greater Cincinnati Police Museum. It is my opinion that the legacy of the officers goes beyond the artifacts. It resides in the stories of their lives, their sacrifices, and their belief in making their community better through their service to others. This legacy can only be glimpsed by looking through their accomplishments and records and imagining yourself in their shoes at each part of their service. It can be through a Roll Call sheet as much as remembering a fallen officer; their successes as well as their not so successful days. I will include my thoughts as my thoughts. The best way to explore this history, is to go through our displays with one of our volunteers (or even several times with different ones). Ask about our history, our resources will surprise you. I would suggest a visit. There is no price for admission. If you wish, you may leave a donation.

What made our visit special was a personal guided and narrated tour by a retired Cincinnati Police Officer. It gave us a much greater appreciation of what these men and women contribute to society. Bring your children so they may gain some respect for those who perform an incredibly difficult job.

Spent an afternoon visiting this Police Museum, while in Cincinnati. Doesnt look like much from the outside, however, it has so much more than I could have expected. A "Must See" !
