Great Christmas event. Super busy but docents kept things moving with cheer and insight. An important figure in American history. Ill be back again when crowd is thinner and I have time to savor the experience. Some unusual architecture. Loved Clays domed study and hear that concerts on the lawn are enjoyable.

This a great place for people of all ages and interests. The estate is beautiful and the curators have done a fantastic job of displaying the storied life of Henry Clay, one of Kentuckys most prominent citizens. For a special treat make sure to go in May when all of the peonies are in bloom-- not to be missed.

Nice park like grounds, some educational historic features to explore outside. The house has a great history and is very petty. The tour of the house is not very good for small children but the grounds are very nice in the spring and summer with flowers in bloom.

My kids and I loved Ashland! We didnt know much about Henry Clay prior to our visit and we very much enjoyed the tour of this beautiful historic home and walking through the garden and around the grounds. This is a must see in Lexington!

We went their for our high school field teip and it was a once and a lifetime experience. We were talking to the archaeologist and they just found a horse shoe belonging to one of henry clays horses based on the depth of it discovery.

This property is nice, old trees, green grass, planted flowers. But Henry Clay held slaves, along with whatever atrocious things he did, we need to equally acknowledge and confront these things or find someone worth honoring.

Havent visited the museum or received a tour, but the grounds are very well kept and a nice area for a walk. I go here almost every morning to practice qigong, and they offer community yoga on sundays on the main lawn.

Nice tour of Ashland. Not to long, or to short. Wish the young lady leading the tour was a little more excited about what she was doing but overall an informative tour about Henry Clay.

Grounds do act as a formal park. Tour is worthwhile if a little pedantic at times (probably not great for most smaller children). Nicely decorated at Christmas.

It wasnt Henry Clays actual home. And the tour guide was monitone and rehearsed. Will not recommend this attraction.
