Nothing pleasant about Pleasant Hill. I have been golfing for 30 yrs and have golfed all over the country and I have never seen such rude behavior from the staff. This was my wifes first time on a course and my daughters second or third time. The older man in the pro shop was being rude before we even started stating we would have to play fast. I mentioned letting others go ahead of us and he rudely said "no we have a schedule here" . walked out to the tee to stare at us while we teed off the first hole. then followed us in a cart. Told us after the first hole, which we didnt even putt. Had to hurry up he had 40 angry golfers because of us, It didnt look like there were 40 golfers on the entire course. We said we will be happy to let anyone play through. He then sent another elderly man out to follow our every move. He made a similar comment after the 2nd hole and I said we are done with the rudeness, no one is close enough to play thru and we will just take a refund. The first older man started yelling when we went back to to pro shop. Absolutely horrible experience. Only played two holes then asked for a refund. It was of course pro rated. Even followed us out to the cars to write down our license plate numbers. Really? Stay away from this place. Worst experience I have every had. I would give it negative stars if it was possible.

Like many others have said, this course qualifies as a "hidden secret". I would not rank it with the best courses in the Tri-State (Aston Oak, Elks Run, Shaker Run ecetera) but its never overly crowded, the staff is friendly, the course/greens are always kept in nice condition and the price is very reasonable. My buddies starting playing here semi-regularly a couple of years ago and we keep coming back. The 17th and 18th holes never fail to ruin my scorecard, but I always come back to try to tame them next time. A great course at a nice price- try it, I think youll like playing here as much as we do!

I think this course has a nice layout. If you hit a bad shot, you can get it back in play and continue the hole. The greens are in excellent shape. The fairways are in very bad shape - lots of crabgrass and bare spots. It looks like they have had a problem with the ash borer, as there have been a lot of trees cut down and several dead ones still standing. All of this has not been 100% cleaned up yet, but it should not affect play. When I have been here, it has not been crowded and we were able to cruise around the course. If they get the fairways in shape, this will be a great course.

Like everybody else said for the money and location this place is a hidden gem. It has a great layout and not to hard yet not to easy. Fairways were in good shape and so were the greens . The greens are a little smaller then other courses and a little more firm so your wedges and approach shots have to be kore precise. Its definitley a course where if you can drive 240 to 260 you will score well. Also its a course that calls for alot of bump and run pitch shots. The staff was great and beer was super cold .

We moved our league to Pleasant Hill this year and had a great experience. The course has you using all the clubs in your bag with very challenging holes. The owner and staff are very helpful and we ended up playing there on Sundays. Thank you to the superintendent and his staff for solving the fairway issues and keeping the course in nice shape. Our league will be going back in 2016

Horrible men in pro shops the older men. No respect to ladies with kids! They kicked us out and told us not to come back.. this was also my daughters home course she cried and was so ashamed that they treated us that poorly. All she wanted do was play 9 holes. Green crest welcomed us and we were able to feel like equal rights!

The course is always in poor condition. Fairways are more like pastures. That said, the worst part is that the staff is always rude and unfriendly. They act like theyre doing you a favor. They often display a combative attitude. The rates are far too high for a course such as this. Save your time and money and stay in bed!

The course is layed out like an executive course, so keep your head on a swivel. Staff are not the friendliest. Someone was sent out to spy on us because the owner/manager thought we were hiding coolers of beer somewhere on the cart. This was after buying our second cooler of 8 beers from him.

Fairway is terrible. can barely even tell where it is. dead trees everywhere. Club house smells. I will never play golf here ever again. the only way I would play here was if they charged $10 for 18 holes. I guess it is just way to close Hamilton and Middletown.

I have played this course many years and would take anyone there,, the staff and owners all.play there and make for a good little secret course that allows you to play quickly and has some very tough holes,, as for the shape its pretty good right now

I just folded here today...To me it is not a $30.00 good course..The fair ways were in horrible shape. They are in the process of cutting down a lot of trees and they were laying all over the course.
