Id normally like to start out with a couple of positive points, but there arent many to mention. Whoever is taking their pictures for their website is doing a heck of a job. This course hasent looked like those pictures since the 80s. They do have a good deal on Tuesday and Wednesday with 25 dollars for 18 holes with a cart, plus breakfast "until 10am". However, be forewarned, if you show up at 9:30, you will not be allowed to partake. Also the staff was uncourteous to the point that they were hostile. Moving on to the course, it is perfectly set up for older golfers, short and narrow. Those of you who are able to drive over 230 yards should probably leave the driver at home unless you are able to thread the needle through the large, overbearing trees hovering over every fairway. If you do miss the fairway, be prepared for punching your way through Sherwood forest, across turf, tougher than concrete, to reach the green. Even if you do manage to land in the fairway, you may still find yourself unable to shoot at the green due to the overgrown jungle canopy which seems to blanket every approach shot. So wrapping it up, keep the trajectory low and short and to try to reduce the impact of the inconsistantly watered turf or unkempt trees. Only by playing this course for years could one manage to navigate it without hitting a tree on nearly every hole.

I have played Good Park for many years and consider it to be an excellent challenge. There are ample opportunities to get into trouble as the course is tree lined. There are not any water hazards so you can stay dry. The sand traps can use a little work. All things considered, Ill play at Good Park as my first choice every time.

Fun course, nice layout, staff was friendly. However, as a woman golfer, my biggest pet peeve is golf courses that have no facilities out on the course. A port-a-john doesnt cost that much to rent per month -- two greens fees a month will cover it!

The course was beautiful with big trees surrounding the fairways and an interesting and challenging layout. The fairways are narrow, dont get stuck under the trees. The price was good too. I will be going back for sure.

Fairways in great condition. Greens good. Rolling nice. Clover in places can make finding errant shots a little difficult. Great layout. Tough but fair. Fun day on the course.

Played there for years ,they have removed a lot of trees. Great course when it isnt underwater from storms. You would think they could build better drainage as it is City run

Havent golfed in a while and really enjoyed this course. Tough course for a raw amature but had a blast. Very old trees and greens and fairways in great shape.

Fun course. Seems quality of the course is going down over the years, however. Worth playing if youre in the Akron area. City of Akron course.

Very tough course in the middle of Akron with tons of history. Will give any golfer a run for their money. Hot dogs were sub par though.
