Our server seemed overwhelmed and flustered but Im a server too so I know sometimes youre having an off day so the service has nothing to do with my rating. The issue was with food. I ordered the bleu Munster burger. It comes with bacon, caramelized onions, burboun glaze, bleu cheese AND Munster cheese. Plus lettuce and tomato. I asked for cheddar instead of bleu and no bacon. Cooked medium. My burger came out with only bleu cheese, lettuce and tomato. No glaze, no onions, no Munster. So I told the server. She apologized. They redid my burger. It came out this time with cheddar and glaze. Still no Munster, still no onions. The bun isnt toasted so its kind of thick and hard and adds to the dryness of the burger, which leads me to the actual burger. My medium burger was very well done. No pink in sight. Very dry. Very flavorless. I ended up just giving it to my brother in law because I didnt want to send it back again. He had told me these were the best burgers in wilmington, which is why we were there, I love burgers! If this is Wilmingtons best they should be embarrassed. I would never get a burger from here again. Im not sure if the kitchen staff is new and doesnt know what is supposed to come on the burger but they just need to have a menu in front of them to see. Oh and the cherry on top was I got charged extra for getting cheddar instead of bleu cheese even though I was subbing not adding and I was missing a cheese any way! Disappointed in the whole thing. Ps my sister is a vegetarian and ordered a veggie burger but they were out. So she ate fries.

This place is completely hit or miss. I live nearby and have been to it over a dozen times in the past few months. Sometimes its amazing. They are really big on how good their mac and cheese is - and its true - you can totally have some of the best mac and cheese youve ever had in your life there. But its also true that the service ranges from awesome to terrible, that some of their entrees arent very good, and that youre never sure what youre going to get when you walk in. When its great, its great. But when its below average, its also below average. I recommend it, but only because when they try and are focused, they are amazing, especially for the price. But dont be surprised if at least half the time you are leave wishing they were more consistent. And a pro tip about the mac and cheese. Call and ask what it is for the day before you go. They change it every day and for some reason dont post their daily specials on their Facebook page. If they mac and cheese of the day is bacon mac, you should go. Its unbelievable. As for their menu, it used to be a lot of hot sandwiches but now its pretty heavily titled towards Pub-style Mexican food. 86 all of that and stick with the Wonka Burger. Hard to go wrong with the candied bacon. This is a place I really want to like. Its close to the beach and its priced right but just be warned that the quality varies greatly from day to day.

This was my first time here...the waiter was a little disoriented...LOL. Any questions I asked, he had no clue. He had to read the menu to answer my questions...I could have done that! Ordered the mussels as an appy. They were better than superb. Just very disappointed that for $9 we only got 9 mussels. Very, very small portion. I order the filet mignon. I was served a ribeye. Without a doubt, it was NOT filet mignon, but again, none the less, it was very good. It was the Wednesday special and it was just about the same price as the ribeye, so I didnt complain. We did not stay for dessert, but it all looked amazing.

Ive been to the Pub 5-6 times for lunch, and the food is good for a pub, but the service and general attitude is completely unacceptable. On a holiday weekend Sunday night, no manager was on duty. Waited for over 10 minutes with a toddler, not greeted at all. After asking for the manager (who wasnt there) we didnt get greeted for another 10 minutes. We ordered and drinks came, but no food. After the table behind us had finished eating and left, we finally left as well, and told them all about it. Nobody even cared except one nice bartender. As a repeat customer, I doubt Ill ever go back!!

This has to be one of the best new burger spots in the country! They have the two things I most love about a great burger: high-quality meat fresh ground daily, and sauces to die for. Its definitely not a dive, but I love the casual atmosphere and the friendly service. The burgers are a feast for the eyes and they have flavor to match. Their beers are as fresh as their burgers, so I will definitely be visiting this every time Im back in Wilmington! Chris, a happy tourist

I really like this place. I am new to the area and have been in search of a local bar I can hang out. Food is great and Annie is a great bartender. Second time in and she knew what I drink. BUT, as with any cool places hang out in Wilmington, the college punks need to learn how to handle their alcohol. I guess the kids are a necessary evil in this town. Overall, you cant go wrong here.

Nothing fancy about this place. The service I felt was a little slower. This pub is divided into two sections the restaurant portion and the bar. So if you have young kids it works out great. However they have great burgers and friesI recommend you try the Blue Munster burger.

The fries are well seasoned, and a small is easily enough for two people to share. The burgers are fantastic, and the topping choices are way better than anywhere else in town. Definitely a go to burger place.
