Every time Ive been to this venue in the past few years, the show is poorly run. One time, an usher gave my seat away and told me to sit somewhere else. When I saw Dave chapelle, the show started after a lengthy delay, then had an unannounced intermission. Tonight, the show is already 20 mins late, with no indication of when it will start. No wonder dpac and Carolina theater get most of the good events. I go there a lot, and while the shows there might not start on time, they never take this long.

We saw Beauty and the Beast. They production was amazing and beautifully done. The seating area has good placement but like most theatre types the sets felt close together but they were comfortable. They had a few concession stands but not all serving the same snacks and like every theatre, a bit pricey but again your not there for the snacks. In all, go see Beauty and the Beast when they are in town. Very nicely done.

Great Venue! Its cool how they enclosed the original building in the front lobby. I see a couple of bands and shows here and they were all well done. The seats were comfortable and got better after a few drinks. The bartender was great and made a good drink. Easy parking just across the street and I was able to get on a free bus to go to the bars after the show.

Music and performers were great! Seats were OK but really too narrow with hard armrests to be comfortable. Like being in a school auditorium. First rows of seats have view obstructed somewhat by lighting and sound equipment sitting on the front of the stage. Theater is ready for an upgrade.

My daughter participated in a dance competition here. The staff was polite and helpful and the auditorium and stage were well maintained and easy to navigate. The one downside was the extremely high cost of snacks and beverages.

The center is a great place to catch a show, whether a smaller play, orchestra, or Broadway musical. It has several spaces that can accommodate the performance, and I find that there is rarely a bad seat in the house.

Security staff were extremely rude. I understand they are hired from outside sources though, so if the name of their company is available, Ill transfer my review there. However, the food served here is disgusting.

For what its worth, I am very very upset and disappointed that DPAC has become the "go-to" for shows in NC now. Duke Energy Center has a much better venue and will always be my favorite.

Came here on a date for Christmas. It was an excellent venue and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer was performed beautifully. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent facility right by downtown. The Parking deck nearby is super convenient. I wish they had better concessions. The auditorium is huge and very well maintained.
