Re: A Christmas Carol 12/9. The curtain call threw a wet blanket on an otherwise delightful experience. Like many, post election sadness has consumed me. This play was the perfect reminder to see the good in our lives and to be kind to one another. I was refreshed. Then came Davids reminder of the election divisiveness and the singing of "God Bless America". You should know the (unintended) result was a slap back to our sad reality. It ruined the show for me. I understand your need to "do something". Perhaps just performing the play says it all.

I know the expectation for community theater is lower than say a place like DPAC but the plays we have seen here, while not having the same level of stage sets have been just as good. We recently saw Glorious! a few weeks ago and it was fantastic.
