Hello I am the parent of the one the employees of Countryside Cinema. My family and I have been coming to Countryside Cinema ever since my son was very young. Countryside Cinema offers a family oriented feeling. You are always greeted with a smile from the employees. Dont get me wrong this movie theater isnt perfect, but what place is perfect. Countryside Cinema allows us to take your family to the movies and not have to take a second mortgage out on your house to afford it......LOL. It isnt always comfortable but and I am satisfied. To respond to some of the people who dont like the movie theater. The reason they dont accept credit cards is because, it would cost them to much in taxes, and would cause them to go up on the prices. They try so hard to keep the price down so families will be able to take their children out at a reasonable price. Countryside Cinema is Kernersvilles best kept secret. Please run to the movie theater and watch some really great NEW movies. See you there!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best theater Ive ever been to, for the experience Ive gotten here. For less than half all the other theaters for tickets as well as the food being that much cheaper too, that makes this place the best theater Ive been to in a while. It doesnt have fancy seats and squeaky clean floors, but thats what youre paying for when you go to those more expensive places. Youre paying less, so you get less, but at this place the less is so much more worth it to save the cash. Another review talks about them not taking credit cards and that they couldnt watch a movie because they had no cash and their kids were crying because of it, it is true they dont take credit cards but rating the place badly because you dont have cash and cant take the time to go to an ATM, is not the fault of the business, because it does everything it can to keep prices as low as possible.

This is the place you want to go when you want to see a movie without being robbed. The prices are great and the service is great. It is a inconvenience at times that they only accept cash but to the douchebag who has the punk crying kids. What do you expect for $3? Here is some advice for you... 1: quit being a whiny punk yourself. 2: teach your kids that life sucks at times, get used to it! 3: dont write a bad review because you too dense to tell the attendant to hold your tickets so you can go to the ATM at the gas station in the same parking lot. 4: Next time you think about coming to Kernersville and maybe watching a movie.... dont. Go spend 10$ a person for tickets and 50$ for concessions wherever you and the rest of your whiny punk family came from and leave our beloved cinema alone! DOUCHEBAGGERY BEGONE! enanc

Very reasonable place with a reasonable price for show and the concesson stand. I went to IMAX one and paid over $50 for me and two kids under the age of 10. When I went to Countryside..I paid less than 220 for show and popcorn. Its well worth it. Due their savings on not receiving debits causes their prices to be lower and then we get to see new releases the same day for $3. I mean what more can you ask for. I hope they come to Winston so I wont have to keep coming to Kernesville, Either way Im still going to come, me and my family. By the way, we are going tonight.

I love the location. The staff are very friendly,and helpful reasonable prices for a great night of entertainment. With that being said I have a huge complaint the organization for the lines to get in to the movie you paid for is blood boiling my brother got there last night with his family a hour a head of time to see the new X-Men he and his family was the first in line but a lady and her husband and a few others walked around them breaking in line and nothing was said the staff do not man the lines properly leaveing people to guide themselves in and creating chaos

They need to enforce the ticket line out side. So many people have NO idea there is a marked ticket line and they stand in the street. Learn to read and follow signage people. How about replacing those damaged and stained ceiling tiles throughout the building. Each month do one little area until they’re replaced. It would brighten up the place. Also they seem very greedy not taking credit/debit cards. Your business could double if you didnt worry about a small 2.5% charge for each transaction. These are just my thoughts. Good movies though at a fair price.

It truly is a theatre that needs new seats and a good cleaning! But the popcorn is good and the ticket prices and even the popcorn drinks and candy are half what are family pays when we go to High Point Palladium. So wear your jeans just in case you sit in some chocolate from the patron before you and enjoy the great prices and good popcorn! Its cash only so come prepared but you cannot find a better bargain anywhere, cheaper than most movies you can buy On Demand at home! And yes they do have some of the latest releases!

Great Price ! New Digital screen and makeover that raised the price, not a problem. We have enjoyed many movies here for many years. My GROWING Concern is that i have found that on three separate occasions movies with an ETHNIC demographic have a LOWER SOUND VOLUME. This has been Very noticeable and brought to managements attention to no avail. Hate that this is acceptable. Hope that this blatancy resolves itself. probably not ...

Countryside Cinema is a great value for the money! By only taking cash, Im sure that they are passing the savings on to us. The theater is the old style, but it is always clean and smells like fresh popped popcorn. You really cant beat the $3 price, especially when you can see movies the day that they come out for that price. Also, the concession prices are lower than other theaters. This theater is always our first choice!

Im not sure how you could say anything negative about the Countryside Cinema. It is the reason my family gets to see top flight movies on a regular basis. Who else offers that for only $4.00 a person? Does the facility need an upgrade ... maybe ... but I can look past to have the opportunity to enjoy great family fun at a more than affordable price. I highly recommend the Countryside Cinema!

Our little cinema isnt the fanciest in the area, its older but the thing is - its so reasonable!! The tickets are $3 for all shows, the shows are all current, and the concession stand offers great deals! If you want to see new releases at an afford price and have some good munchies that arent overpriced, than this cinema is the way to go!

This is one of those "it is what is is" places. For $4 per scalp you gain entrance to a more than slightly run down theater. The low admission attracts a non-desirable element along with us cheapsters. I have been bumped into a few times by the thugs that come out. Maybe a concealed carry permit is appropriate here.
