Taco Tuesday is the way to go! You can grab 3 tacos, soft or hard, beef or chicken, for $5. An extra $2 grabs you a generous portion of beans and rice on the side. Took away one star because of the brisket taco. It wasnt great, and I love brisket. Maybe it was because the taco literally had a strip of brisket running the length of it so you had to chew off each bite. They should dice the brisket. Anyway, give this place a shot. Cant go wrong with good food, good food specials, and good beer specials.

Hubby and I go there on occasion to just unwind, sometimes we are annoyed by the language of some of the customers, but it wont keep us away. This is the one place where we can dine on good food and get some entertainment as well, and its all local. We especially love the wings, the Jamaican Jerk are the best. Plan on getting some tonight to go, hope you still make them!

Its not the first time weve stopped in but this is the first time we ate there. Oh my gosh - it was delicious. I had the Special which was a brisket sammie with cheddar, bacon, and bbq sauce. I practically inhaled it. Our waitress was sweet and a customer kept feeding the juke box and the music was wonderful. We will definitely go back.

Dont let appearances fool you. The Thirsty Turtle does not look like much from the outside but serves a great lunch. Their wide array of choices include several excellent salads in addition to a large selection of burgers and wraps. They have a large and solid selection of draft beers. Lunch, not dinner, is the meal you want there.

Typical bar scene with typical bar food. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a good amount of space so acceptable for larger parties. They have pool and darts available to play. You can choose to sit at the bar area with high chairs or the sit down area with low chairs.

Ive been coming to the turtle for almost 7 years, I live in the area. The atmosphere is great, the people are like family, and its the closest thing to a "Cheers" bar Ive ever been to. The prices are just right and the clientele I a good mix. Bartenders are a cut above the rest!

The food is pretty good here but its more about the atmosphere. Mostly friendly but a generally older crowd. Its a good place if you want to play some darts and get some wings.
