I visited my mom & dad this past may, and played Rosebrook Golf Course twice with my father. I grew up on that course when it was "Cloverleaf", and it was my home course until I moved to Utah in 1996. I play there every time I travel to see my parents but I guess I am spoiled by the pristine courses in Utah. It has NO Driving Range, it has NO Practice Green either??? I have to be very honest... Its not really fun when you have a hard time finding your balls in the fairway on some of the holes, or have to spend 5-10 minutes looking for a ball that is just off the fairway. The Review before mine refers to it as a "Cow Pasture", I dont know that I would go that far, but they sure need to work on MAINTAINING The Fairways, and trimming the Rough around the fairways better, A LOT BETTER! I personally found the grass "TOO HIGH" where the grass was well grown, and I found it hard with shale on the "new" side in many places as well. It isnt very fun when you play it twice and lose a dozen Pro-V1xs and Firestone B330s and E6s. I found a ton of garbage balls, so I guess if you play cheap bargain balls its not so bad if you are willing to give up on your good shots you cant find in two minutes or you could be there for 6-8 hours to play 18 holes! If they CUT the grass so many of the fairways were exactly that, FAIRWAYS and not 1st or 2nd cut length it could be a lot better, Id had enjoyed it a ton more to tell you the truth. The greens were NICE!!! I like the lay out of the course as well. Im partial there though, I have always liked Rosebrook... I can tell you this much, it misses Jim and the way he kept the course manicured. The "old 9" was good, I only lost 2 or 3 balls there in the open TALL grasses that should be shorter in my opinion, they used to be from what I remember. Its a fun course, bring plenty of OLD CHEAP BALLS, you can have a great time playing it! If the grass was cut shorter in the fairways and the rough around the fairways was a bit shorter Id give it 4 stars, and if it was cut like the grass on a Utah Course Id give it 5 stars. Perhaps it was the wet spring they were having? Its a nice course and the workers are VERY VERY FRIENDLY but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, CUT THE GRASS!!!!!!

First off there is NO driving range. The entire course was brown. How i have no idea but every fairway, every rough was brown, and i nearly needed a chissle to get my ball tee in the first tee box. other fun facts to note, almost all the tee boxes are in driving range of the next one, and balls flew accross our feet a few times. We had to hold up play cause a tractor was crossing the 6th hole, and some random guy was walking around in overalls picking up peoples balls. On a good note my father and i both have never had consistent 300+ yard drives, fortunately the ground was to hard the ball took a 10 foot bounce into the air every hole. this was less a course, and more something someone put together with a tractor and a few lawn mowers. DONT GO HERE

The last 3 years the course management let the place go. But new owners Gary Cerne and Myra Pinker have committed to putting every penny back into the course. It already is showing extreme improvement. They have committed to bringing a great experience back to the golf end. But not only that they totally remodeled the club house and added a famous restaurateur to manage the kitchen. Also they are bringing back Golf n Geetars! Some of WNY area hall of fame musicians !! I will be spending plenty of time playing golf and enjoying the music and food!

Golf and GEE-TARS !!! This place is a GEM for Spring, Summer and Falll recreation and entertainment in WNY! Rick, Lucy and the crew have truly outdone themselves in providing this unique venue. Only 30 mins from Buffalo - Play a very affordable 18 holes in the afternoon and then stay stay for live music in the evening by Buffalos Best !! Our personal favorite at Rose Brook - Barbara St. Clair and the Shadows !!

Serious golfers avoid this course at all costs. Worst golf course I have ever played on or seen. I wouldnt go back if it was a freebie. Truly an un-maintained cow pasture.

I enjoy the fun, relaxed atmosphere. At times the course may not be in the best condition, but the people are what I enjoy about this place.
