Words cannot even express how wonderful my wedding reception was at the Inn on Broadway. I can honestly say that I owe all of that to Ryan, the event coordinator. The inn is such a cozy venue that offers class and sophistication to your wedding day. Since my husband and I planned our wedding from out of state (we grew up in Rochester) we were constantly in touch with Ryan via e-mail. He was always available for any question or request that we had. He worked with us on creating a "signature cocktail" and kept us informed throughout the entire night on the timeline of things (when dinner was going to be served, when cake should be cut, etc.). We had a wedding planner, but did not even rely on her the night of because Ryan was on top of everything. Ryan and his team set up the reception beautifully. The food was absolutely amazing! I recommend the strip steak, salmon, and hunters chicken. The Inn was able to set up a room block for our guests and offered them a discounted rate for the weekend of our wedding. We had about 25 of our guests stay overnight at the Inn and were delighted to hear that the inn offered a complimentary breakfast the next morning. It was such a nice touch to be able to see our guests the next morning for breakfast and spend time with them before they needed to catch their flights. My husband and I were given a complimentary room the night of the wedding which was absolutely beautiful. There was not a detail missed! We discovered the next morning that even after our reception was over, our guests headed down to the main bar in the hotel where they were able to continue the evening! Overall, we are both so pleased with the overall outcome and would 100% recommend the Inn on Broadway for any special occasion!

As a romantic getaway, this place is awesome. We arrived late in the evening, but the concierge was welcoming, immediately got us reservations at the restaurant for dinner (it was already 9pm), and even delivered an ice-bucket to our room for a pre-dinner drink. Small but subtle details as we entered the room: the room was already lit with a warm bedside lamp, soft jazz playing on the radio, and delicate waft of fresh linen & lavender in the air. The cotton sheets were glorious, and it was the best feeling sleeping in the buff. The decor, armchairs, bed, fluffy duvet, quaint shower (with lots of hot water in powerful streams) all get 4-5 stars. The restaurant, a classic in the style of the New-York Steakhouses, lived up to its name. An amazing wine cellar, and some of the best steaks in the state. Even the menu gives a great description of how the beef is aged, and what Kobe beef actually means. So when the steak arrives, your mind and lips are ready to savor it. It seemed a bit pricey when booking, but after the experience, I can definitely say it was worth every dollar...actually it was inexpensive when you add in the dinner coupon that comes with the room reservation. Fantastic room and awesome dinner came up to $290 for two. Highly recommend the place and will definitely return again.

My wife and I held our wedding reception at the Inn on Broadway and we cannot say enough great things about it. In reality, it was the exceptional work of Alyssa and Jessica that made the entire process so seamless. We felt incredibly comfortable as they addressed all of our wants and needs, including food, setup, sound, the overall schedule, etc. They answered numerous questions and were always willing to make arrangements to ensure that our special day was just that--special. Perfectly planned, perfectly executed. Also, if youve never tried their food or seen their distinctive rooms (every one is different), you should--both are really on a different level. This worked out particularly well for us because for food, they had many steak and chicken options, which we appreciated; and for the rooms, they had enough to accommodate all of our out-of-town guests (of which there were several since neither of us are from Rochester). My husband and I recently had our wedding reception here on 8/1/15. We were able to plan all of it from out of state with the help of our parents and staff at The Inn. Alyssa and Jessica were more than helpful with us as we are both very particular about things (we prefer to be called Mr. and Mrs. Zilla). Everything about the evening was wonderful. The ballroom was set up perfectly, the food was delicious, the rooms inside of the inn are breathtaking, and the staff was more than helpful. The only minor thing was that the ballroom was very, very hot even with air conditioning on during our reception. Other than that it truly is a magnificent place to have a wedding reception, and I applaud all of the staff for a job well done. The Inn on Broadway is definitely one of Rochesters hidden gems.

My experience was ok overall. The reception staff was very friendly. What was asked of them was done expeditiously. Questions was answered with knowledge and friendly. That impressed me. The room wasnt as nice as the picture. The queen sized beds turned out to be 2 full sized beds. At least it had a microwave and refrigerator. The continental breakfast was ok at best. We left the room early that morning to do the things we needed. We returned 5 1/2 hours later and housekeeping had not been to our room. I made the staff aware of this and the staff immediately acknowledged it and informed housekeeping. When we left for the evening to go out housekeeping was at the room before my room. The hotel was minutes away from everything we did. Again, my experience overall was ok.

Beautiful historic hotel in one of the best locations in downtown. Close to all the coffee shops you could dream of - Rented a Luxury room for a girls-night-out to just sit by the fireplace and drink some wine. My only real complaint is that they rooms that they have on the SITE are not *exactly* like the room you might get. I was expecting a sort of red/orange girly get-away room, but ended up in a dark green, wooden, masculine room with really low lighting .... Hot tub still worked, fireplace still worked, wine was still fantastic ... So I dont have much to complain about. I just really wish that I had known ahead of time because I was sort of let-down .... Oh well. Next time I will know.

My husband surprised me with dinner reservations at Tournedos. They were very accommodating to our 1st year anniversary dinner. Flowers on the table, wine in a chiller, and exceptional service. I ordered the filet mignon and my husband got the surf and turf. My filet melted in my mouth and the lobster tail was HUGE! The side of truffle mashed potatoes was delicious. If you like wine then you will love their selection. The wine list is a 3-ring binder full of selections from all over the world. The atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful; wine bottles, large paintings, gum wood trim, roman shades, very classic. This was definitely a first class experience.

My sister had her wedding here it was absolutely beautiful the way things were set up and her suit was amazing. However I was very dissatisfied with our meal. We were supposed to have clams and crab/lobster for appetizers and it was already unavailable before the wedding party actually arrived. I have eaten at Tournados before and it was aarrive but The inn on Broadway promised the steaks would not be well done and mine along with everyone else who had steak had theirs cooked well also. Potatoes and steak were also cold
