3 nines which is good. Ive played the Lakeside & the Pines and both were really good and challenging. The course was in pristine condition and cleverly designed. Id love to play there again. As for their food, I had probably the worst fish n chips ever there! The chips were quite nice but the fish was almost burnt fried in thick batter and dry inside. I hope that was a one off. The service was good all around. Id have given it a 5 star rating but for the fish. But seriously, folk. Play there. Its a wonderful public course!

I call Blue Hill Golf Course home! Rarely do you get to experience country club conditions at affordable public course pricing. The course is always immaculate, you tee off at the time you booked (sometimes earlier, rarely later) and they really monitor pace of play. Ive played in 3 1/2 hours (early AM) the longest round was a Friday afternoon 4 hours 25 minutes. Not bad for a kid from queens who thought 5-6 hours was the norm. I also appreciate the variety the course offers with 27 holes.

Usually in.excellent condition, last wk, greens soft/nice speed... but a lot of slope in most greens/can be challenging. Rough largely pine treed- tricky to get out of but pine needle base- dont lose too many balls. Good pricing with associate (out of state/senior) membership. Worth joining! Front desk staff friendly, attentive. One of my favorite courses.
