Loved the Chardonnay, Rose and Gamay Noir. Nice air conditioned tasting room. We visited 6 finger lake wineries and this was in my top 2. (Thirsty Owl was the other). We went here twice on our visit, once by car and once by boat. Free boat docking. We ate outside on their patio. Its bring your own picnic food. The staff is younger and trendy and can come off as snooty at first but they are nicer when you engage.
I found Sheldrake Point Resling at a Pennsylvania State Liquor Store, Philadelphia. Since I spent all of my childhood summers at our Cayuga Lake cottage not far from Sheldrake Point, I had to buy a bottle to try. Seriously didnt have high expectations for a New York State wine, but was delighted. It was fabulous. Bought a few more to share with friends. Thanks, keep it coming. Love the label by the way.
Off the beaten path, but worth the visit. This is a great place to come for dry wines. They also had the best dry rose we tasted on this trip. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. After your wine tasting, you can also walk over to the shore of the lake, which is a really nice touch.
Fantastic winery off of Cayuga Lake. Less crowded and a bit more off the beaten path than the Seneca Lake Wine trail, and the make one of the best dry rose in the region, and probably the best ice wine. Try the 2014 wild fermentation ice Riesling before its gone. Pricey but incredibly unique.
One of my top sites for wine tasting in the Finger Lakes for our guests. Dry and sweet, red or white, there is something interesting to taste for anyone. White wines do standout. Good example of FLX minerality reflective of the terroir.
Amazing wine and setting. If you want real wine, not the cheesy, sweet stuff, go here. Beautiful setting and facility. Our tasting server was well versed in wine practices and knowledge. I would highly recommend Sheldrake!
This is a great winery. The staff is always friendly and they have terrific wines. I personally do not like iced wines, but theirs is a must try. THE HOURS ON GOOGLE ARE WRONG - It is only open until 5:30 daily. NOT 7:00

The wines were decent but the staff wasnt knowledgeable or particularly friendly. With so many amazing places to choose from in the Finger Lakes this one wasnt anything outstanding. If you do go, try the ice wines.
Nice resling and red blend. Views of the lake were very nice. We brought cheese and crackers and sat outside and had a great time. A couple of cats kept us company. Would come back again
Not group friendly. With all of the local respectful wineries you can choose another, have a better time and better wine.
Amazing place near the lake. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Good wines, really liked their ice wine.
So cute and good service! They have decent wine selection, gifts, nicknacks and wine accessories.

This is our favorite winery on the lake. Great dry red wines!
Great wines! Awesome staff. Definitely worth the visit
One of the best wineries I have visited.
Great wine and great winery.
Beautiful and good wines
