The theater smells of mildew and urine. The carpet is over 20 years old and filthy. The staff could care less, young and oblivious other than hello. Movies stop half way and then restart all of sudden the sound quality is horrible. Torn seats with stains and gum, just a nasty and filthy place. The owner has done nothing to upgrade the place and the seats are falling apart. Bottom line go somewhere else this is for teenagers who want to destroy the place and do what they want on the weekend. To top off the list there is mice and rats everywhere one ran across my girlfriend’s foot. Seriously, the staff knows and says they have traps and an exterminator. Really rats! Do yourself a favor heed my warning do not go to this theater! --------------------------------Update------------------------------------- Head my warnings about this place The owner name is sanj. The cheapest most frugal penny-pinching person you will ever meet. I never have worked for you. My experiences are based on actual accounts at island cinemas and friends experiences. The theater is falling apart period. Just look up next time you are in any theater and you will find missing and stained ceiling tiles. The theater leaked from the roof for years, which is why there is mold and mildew throughout the theater. The mold and mildew smell is legitimate which is why he buys air purifiers to mask the smell but does not clean the mildew because he does not want to pay to resolve the root cause. He is expanding the concession stand because as he puts it is where all the profit is made. He does not put one cent back into the theater; it all goes into his families pockets. Sanj does not own the building he only leases it which is why he could care less for investing back into the theater. Sanj himself has admitted to several people there are mice in the theater, he has hired exterminators to fix this issues but he cannot find the root cause of where the mice are breeding or living in the theater. If you go to any screen to the front, you will find mice droppings everywhere. He buys bags of rat poison, you will see the pebbles scattered through all the theaters. Just imagine if a baby eats a mice poison pebble, huge lawsuit. He told the staff not to tell anyone of the rat poison because he is not supposed to expose the public to rat or mice poison. As for the improvement, he claims Ha! Sanj has been saying that for years. Just read the reviews 90 percent of the reviews, several different people say the same thing dirty, filthy, smelly, unclean, etc. etc. Bottom line this theater is worn down and disgusting. It is not a clean or comfortable or family friendly cinema. Unless your idea of one is with mold, mildew, rats, mice poison, torn seats, movies that stop half way through, horrible audio, dark screens, stale popcorn, and old gum on your seats. Go somewhere else and enjoy the movie instead exposing yourself to the latter issues and toxins.

It was very disappointing because they cancelled the movie spiderman that we were going to see and they moved it an hour early for a party. It said online and on the screen at the box office it was still showing at 11:30. We had to see another show and they ran out of ice, had no water, the soda was warm and flat. The popcorn was stale. The usher who takes the tickets was outside the door smoking when we were going in. The " acting " manager (Colette) was berating a previous customer in front of current customers waiting at concessions and she was rude and unprofessional to us. We were a family of 12 coming on a rainy Saturday and feel that this incident was unacceptable and we will not be back unfortunately. It is close to our house but we will drive elsewhere to avoid this horrific experience. This is my first time EVER writing a review and would like to let the public know to avoid at all costs no matter how convenient.

This place is literally disgusting. I live out in the Hamptons. We usually go all the way to island 16 but I wanted to go somewhere a little closer. I went with my 3 children and I had the worst experience ever.They had no ice and when they did it had rat poop in it. My youngest child, 6, had it in his drink. I checked the other two kids drinks to make sure theres was ok and it was luckily. We went up to concessions and asked for a new drink. The girl gave us a new drink no problem. On my way back to the movie I saw something crawling around on floor. I took a closer look only to find out it was a roach. I took a picture of it and also the ice but sadly I dont know how to upload it here. I will not be coming back here sadly and I will make sure I tell my family and friends not to come here cause its disgusting and the owner should be ashamed of himself/herself!

Theater is very low budget but if you live local its convenient and tickets are cheap. The woman I believe to be the manager is often short and the place smells. Several times the ceiling was leaking in the theatre. I know they are making repairs I hope it gets better. A few times I have gone and they are short staffed and the movies dont get started until you go to the front to get someone, I once waited over 20 minutes smh I also once slipped on a wet floor where no sign was, I informed staff and left my info. I had to go to the drs and never once got a response or an inquiry as to see if I was OK from the owner. Moral of the story is if what your looking for is a cheap movie and your willing to sacrifice safety, cleanliness, customer service and respect for your time then by all means come on down lol

We patronize this theater a lot. We went to see Jurassic park last week and the ticket collector said he wanted to go through my bag. I opened it but when I wouldnt let him go through my things he got loud. He said I could have food drugs or alcohol. I told him he wasnt going through my bag, he said he was going to call the police and I said go ahead. The mgr came in and discussed the issue while he breathed down our necks. She said he shouldnt of said that but they will go through bags. Another woman had an apple and he wouldnt let her bring it. He also made my daughter throw out her water which she did. This guy really is giving the theater a bad name, he thinks hes a cop. Hes very rude and needs to be fired.

Me and my 7 year old sister went to see Jurassic world and some guy tried searching our bags, when we didnt let him he said things like "its a new policy".. "you could have alcohol and drugs or a Wendys" i thought this was crazy! Then he said we "should learn how to read!" When i asked him to get a manager he said "i am the manager", so i went back up to the concession stand and the woman said no he is not, The movie theater is cheap but its falling apart! And the one male worker, was so rude! We were the only ones who where stopped, out of the 10 people who went in before us! I would never suggest this movie theater to anyone!
