My prior venue was cancelled and The Renaissance looked so beautiful i couldnt resist, i called and spoke to Paul and he took all of my worries away. It was only a week away from the event and Paul made everything run perfectly and smoothly. Brenda helped out with decorations and linens/set up of everything. I was a bit scared that they did not set up until 2 hours before the event, but everything come together so perfect and magical.The entrance was my favorite part of the event, those stairs give a great entrance for all of your guest. Cocktail hour ran so smoothly and the food was so tasty. Since i had no time for food tasting i was a bit sceptical about the food, dessert and drinks. And being a picky bride, i can assure you the food was fabulous! Dessert and drinks were amazing as well. All of my guest were endlessly speaking about the ambiance of how romantic this venue was and how great the food and service was. They loved the chocolate cake for dessert and the anger steak for dinner. Even though this was an "engagement party" it was basically a wedding as everyone stated and it was just perfect! Paul and Brenda were very attentive and kind. The Manager of staff that took over the party was so kind and helpful with anything i needed! He knew exactly what my fiance and i wanted and delivered it perfectly. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone! Romantic, unique, amazing staff and amazing food , there is nothing more to say but , Renaissance Event Hall should be your number one pick! My guest are still talking about this party, Thank you Renaissance for a perfect day !
Ive just had my daughter Sweet 16 birthday party at this venue. We were very happy with the all organization and final results of the event. The food was good and we received good reviews from the guests. The ambient was perfect, spacious, and cozy at the same time. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. My special thanks to Brenda, who was our party planner. She was always ready to answer my daughter and my questions and tried to accommodate all our requests. Also a special thank you to the maître d, who also kept the party running smoothly during the 5 hours of the event. Im glad we chose Renaissance for this special celebration. We loved the place since our first visit. Its totally different than the usual catering halls. Im glad we made the right choice. Thank you Renaissance staff.
I want to thank Jessice and Gergana and the entire Renassaince staff for the magical day. Everything was beautifully executed, unobtrusively, attentively, considerately and to perfection, reflecting no doubt many hours of thoughtful planning and extensive communication. Memories of which will always include a tribute to those people whose professional expertise contributed so substantially to making it such a perfect day. I went to an event here on the MKL holiday weekend and I was very impressed. It was spacious and every aspect of sound, light, decor, food and service was excellent. There were so many staff members available and they all were kind, efficient and professional and from the food and cleanliness and functionality of the place, the behind the scenes staff were the same. It all added up into a magical experience and I had a great time and would recommend it.
I booked this venue for my wedding and I cant wait for 4/2018. Went back for a food tasting and saw the beautiful updates they have done to the place. Just beautiful. Brenda is my wedding coordinator and shes amazing. The venue is affordable and the day of your event, its only for your party. I know with the updates, the prices might be increasing. Thank you Renaissance!!!
I had my wedding ceremony and reception here and I was so lucky to have found this hidden gem. Id lived in the neighborhood for years and didnt even know it was here. The service, food, and ambience were just perfect. And the wonderful event coordinator, Brenda, put me at ease through the whole planning process.
I had my sweet 16 there the other day and the service was amazing! Brenda helped me with everything shes honestly the best. The food is also so good and everything was just so nice. Thank you!!
Such a bad experience. They couldnt figure out how to get the sound to work properly. They spent over an hour troubleshooting without any success. Not worth it.
Worst experience ever. People are unprofessional and their equipment/entertainment system does not work properly. I would not want to go back to host an event.
Beautiful space, tasty food in a slightly small venue. Then again, its New York so thats fairly typical.
Such an amazing place and the food is great! Hostesses are very welcoming, and the ambiance is perfect!

For the office party, it was good, but was not impressed with the food.
The meat was too chewy I would recommend the fish instead
