I just started going there since last year, when I was waiting around to get my car serviced in the neighborhood. It is a much bigger park than Bowne Park, which I go everyday. Its got a much bigger pond there also, with benches along the sidewalk. It wasnt crowded when I went in the afternoons for both times. The second time was last month, also when I was waiting for my car fixed. I will try coming in a morning, when I heard people say they get quite a lot of people exercising and practicing Tai Chi there. Ive found restrooms here are convenient here, which is much better than Bowne Park. I wish Bowne Park can catch up and do a better job than the present.

Its one of the prettiest parks to walk around in. Ofcourse outside of central park and probably a few others, but still its right there. Its safe and very friendly. Their are lots of people having fun with a type of dancing exercise along with that theirs alot of people fishing not for anything big just for fun. Also alot of kids playing. It has all the great things that you want to see on a saturday or sunday morning. Its the perfect place to get the day going in the right way"i totally love it there".

Tennis court attendant Rolando insists that i didnt sign in to play and demands me to stop play and present him our permits, all while i was told to play on this court, number 10, by the previous court attendant, less than one rotation ago. He then proceeds to kick me out of the courts when i was explaining how the previous attendant sent me there. A this occured on sept 19th noon time.

Very Engaging and wonderful experience. If you want to have a nice day out with the family or just by yourself Kissena Park is on of the few places you can go in Queens, NY and enjoy yourself. You have basketball courts, handball court along with children swings and play areas. There are also great trails for mild off road and into the trail riding on a mountain bike.

A clean park that has 2 childrens playgrounds. One of them has a sprinkler during the hot summer days. A definite improvement from what the park was a couple of decades ago. Restrooms available but could definitely use upgrading. Would be nice if they installed some sort of concession stand possibly where they used to have the row boats. Pleasant and peaceful park.

The lake area is below the level of the playing fields, and therefore separated from them. It can be a quiet area to walk. In the mornings a substantial Asian population does Tai Chi. There are a lot of hidden areas in the park. One is pictured here (the snowy walkway). You have to be careful walking here after rains because it is lowland and gets flooded.

这里算是法拉盛比较大的市区公园了,环境不错,是繁忙的法拉盛范围里,相对宁静的区域。不过因为比较大,所以最好不要独自一人游玩,因为发生过抢劫和猥亵妇女事件。

Started a bike ride in Alley Pond Park following the Vanderbilt Motor Pkwy. Lead us to Kissena Park, lovely!!! Pretty lake and very family friendly. Lots of activities from the baseball fields, to the Velodrome (since we were on bike we just had to try it) to watching the guys with the radio controlled planes. Lots of runners and dog walkers too.

Nice, clean park, a lot of greenery but not as many geese, ducks, turtles, in comparison to Bowne Park. Bathrooms need to be totally renovated. Park has two separate areas with childrens swings, slides, monkey bars etc. Has a bocce ball court. In the back is a bicycle track that is in great condition and has a parking lot there to park your car.

Beautiful refuge in New York, an easy walk from Flushing Main St. subway and LIRR stations. Gorgeous, exotic trees left from the time this area was a nursery in the 19th century, quiet forested and marshy trails, plus the velodrome for bike races and the field where people fly drones and model airplanes.

It is quiet big place you can explore. I love how there is playground, basketball field, lake, statue of a soldier in this park. But dont expect to come out at nighttime, this park is under construction, there is still forest and bushes. Many crimes has happened there at nighttime, and it is not safe.

Great for grilling, hanging out at the pinic tables with family and enjoying the breezely walk. However, some parts of the park will be drenched in water if it rained recently. Alot of parking. Mostly a spanish crowd, since its around a spanish neighborhood. But overall, i enjoy this park.

Kissena Park is a wonderful, relaxing place to get your nature fix. All you need to do is stroll under its wilderness of tall trees by the lake while the ducks (or even swans!?) pass you by. Itll make you feel like, at least for the time youre there, all is right with the world.

Kissena Park is a great place if you plan on jogging there but watch out with the forested area. There have been dead bodies found there and I would stay away from it if you are alone. If youre going to jog do it outside the park and during daylight hours.

Great park, really reminds me of a more local and convenient central park. Decently grand lake spot center in the middle of the park and enough animals to entertain the young ones. Even during the colder of seasons, human as well as wildlife are visible.

Its a park. Got some playgrounds. Well maintained as far as I notice. Jogging around the lake is about .6 miles. Theres a dude singing karaoke on Sundays. Thanks to pokemon go, has had a lot more foot traffic lately but in a good way

Great park. Great sights. Fun place for outdoor activities. You can play tennis, basketball, ride your bike, play on playgrounds, and just relax. While you are there, you can visit the velodrome with your bike too.

Expensive, but priced the same as all other NYC public courses. The staff is nice and the facilities have been recently renovated. Its a decent course NYC course if you have the money for a quick golf fix.

Very nice place to visit with loved ones. Nice clean and well kept. Perfect place to jog, or play ball. There is a forest area on the north wastern part of the park that is suitable for some pseudo hiking
