In September 2009 I met eight of my family at Peconic Bay to listen to Mambo Loco, taste wines and enjoy appetizers we brought. The wine tasting service was elegant and unrushed - a new flight brought after just the right amount of time to savor each wine. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio together, listening to music and getting pleasantly buzzed. I did the Discovery tasting of five wines, and bought a mixed case of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, which have been a real hit with my wine-loving friends. Theyre amazed by how good local, Long Island wine really is! Encore planned.

This place is AMAZING! Peconic has a long bar thats split into two to handle groups of tasters as well as an outdoor area that is huge! Split between covered and uncovered seating areas, this is definitely the place to go with a large group if you want a lot of attention. The wine pourers are friendly and knowledgeable and wont let you taste the Riesling without first trying their pretzels and amazing honey mustard sauce. I cant wait to return!

One of the best experiences on the North Fork Wine Trail! Peconic Bay Winery offers a stunning tasting room with a staff that has a passion for the wine. Take the time to order and sample a flight of wine from the tasting menu. The outdoor spaces are just as exciting. The summer season offers live music with seating and tables for your entourage. I am always suggesting this winery to everyone who visits the North Fork.

This is about as good a wine tasting as Ive had in the USA. Top-notch service through six wines and we were able to sample their ciders and grape brandy (grappe) too. The setting is open and comfortable with a reasonable selection of nibbles if you fancy it. Theyre a little close to the main road but it shouldnt put you off. Highly recommended as a friendly, knowledgeable and non-snobby winery. The wine is OK too.
