Im very upset and angry all at the same time. We finally decided to let James III get a bunny. So we see the one we want on Saturday we knew the store was closed on Easter. I took today off today and made sure the bunny was still there. So my husband and I say we want our son to experience the pick up after school. So the lady said "no problem we will hold the bunny. " They put the sign on the cage under my name to hold black and white bunny. I made sure it was taped on good. My son is super excited to get the bunny after school. He has her name picked out. He said he needed to add her to the family photo before school. When James walked he of course did what any child excited would do. Walked over and didnt see his bunny. So he asked where she was and the lady at the counter said we sold her. I have never been so heartbroken in all my life. My son is crying because someone didnt read a sign on a cage!!! So the name of the place is Magic Isle in centereach! Horrible place only cares about money not customers!

Super reasonable prices, their animals are clean and look healthy and energetic. Their fish look so lively and I hadnt seen a single lame fish in any tanks. A lot of the rodents are babies, born in captivity so they are extremely friendly and curious, unlike the ones you get from Petsmart or Petco. If you are looking for a rodent, choose here and not the two stores previously stated. These rodents are healthy and you can tell theyre genuinely happy. I purchased two baby fancy mice and I can already tell the difference between these and a past fancy mouse I purchased from Petsmart. These mice are curious and friendly, dont run away from my touch unlike the others from Petsmart. This store sells great HEALTHY and FRIENDLY rodents for super reasonable prices.

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of fish that may only be matched by Aquahut in Coram. Dont listen to the reviews about the bunny because they wrote two reviews for the same experience. Also, it would have been more professional to offer a deposit to secure the pet. There is no way to guarantee any livestock without paying first, especially in a busy season for rabbits around Easter.

Their fish are well taken care of and the employees are quite nice, the selection is a decent size. The only problem with Magic Isle Aquarium is that the selection tends to be inconstant, for example I went there and they had a tropical fish which one month later they had replaced with a different fish species.

I have been going here since I was a little girl, my mom has too and my dad since he was 16. Magic Isle has never dissapointed. I am looking foward to bringing my kids here too. Thanks for being A fun, kind and helpful place for fond childhood memorys. See you soon! (:

Okay my nephew picked his first bunny and was so happy to say hes part of the family being told the bunny would be there the following day came back and you sold the bunny within less then 24 hrs hes heart broken hes 9 he cant believe it. Horrible
