On Sunday February 15, 2015 a group us (7) went to bowl around 7:30pm and it was 0 degrees outside felt like -13 degrees as per the weather channel. This establishment made everyone wait outside in the freezing cold! for over 30 minutes & still didnt let anyone in! Due them not wanting to fill the capacity before concert ticket holders arrived. They had no consideration to its customers that were there just to bowl waiting outside. I understand there was a concert, but also have sympathy for those who there standing outside in that freezing cold weather willing to leave their home to provide you with business. The bouncer outside was extremely rude! and when the manager (SHAWN) was called he was extremely nonchalant and kept repeating they are waiting for the concert ticket holders. There was nothing advertised on the website that you at least needed a ticket to get in to bowl, tickets were advertised for the concert only. Had we known we needed tickets to avoid standing outside in the cold thats what we would have done! But we also didnt think they would have people standing outside on line either! I will NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! Their INHUMANE treatment was disgusting! If I could give them no stars I would!

Summer Bowl made it into my afterwork plans on a near daily basis while it was offered. the food was great. blue ribbon great! with a decent group of youngsters employed, they performed their duties well. friendly group of kids! really nice use of a large warehouse space. plenty of room for every available activity. the couches at each lane were a personal favorite of mine, as well as the giant fan, the dim lighting, the ambient background videos, the clear sound coming from the stage during a show (beegees hair metal cover band anyone? or perhaps a roots dj set), bowling pins reset in the distance by overhead wires, the large L shaped bar aglow with liquor bottles, etc etc etc. is it cheap to run a small carnival for adults? no. do they have some deals, and special events, weekly? sure do. if youre into bowling, award winning food, affordable concerts, and alcohol all rolled into one, get the gang out to the Bowl. its good times.

Seeing The English Beat there last night was my first Brooklyn Bowl experience. I cant comment on the food or bowling aspect of the place since I didnt indulge in those. The location is pretty decent. In Williamsburg, on the cusp of Greenpoint. Hipster central. Ugh! The place itself is very well kept. Clean and I must say, beautiful. Very nice and clean bathroom area. Friendly servers and wonderful show area. The sound was great although there were some production issues at the beginning of the show that Dave Wakeling wasnt too happy with. The drink prices were pretty good. I had a huge frozen Margarita for $9. By the way, said Margarita was freaking amazing! Best one I ever had. The great thing is, they were serving drinks in actual drinkware! Im looking forward to coming back here for the bowling and food. The food looked and smelled amazing and the lanes looked so cozy.

Please read the reviews on Facebook as well concerning this "music venue" before you decide to waste your time and money. Depending on securities mood and or whims you can be thrown out for whatever they seem fit. A family member was told he was being thrown out for "doing coke" in the bathroom which is an absolute BS lie...completely fabricated for whatever reason. We have been to many shows at this venue before this instance and besides the horrible wait times and rude staff...we have never experienced a problem until last night. You cannot defame someones character with no evidence or proof and we will never come back. Do yourself a favor and support other venues in the area. They do not need or want your business. We are also contacting our lawyer in reference to what happened last night.

Worse experience ever ! Place doesnt take reservations which only a crowd of 21 and under would think is cool . Everyone in the place were on some real unicorn type with a bunch of rude security around Id think theyd be eyeing out for "adults" tripping in a bowling place but Nope not exactly sure of their purpose ! 2 hours later of watching this shroom infested place we still didnt get a lane & left . Will never be back! Good & fun for kids 21 & under or adults who truly have no friends or a better place to be ... terrible ! Anddddd they charge you an entry fee lolllllll soo Grimy! Ps watch out for the reviews : good ones are written by staff and friends and when I write an honest one on facebook their staff are still leaving me bullying comments!

This might be my favorite place to see bands, DJs and special events. I celebrated my birthday here and the crowd has always been a fun bunch to party with. It never gets too crowded so theres always room to get crazy on the dance floor if thats your kind of thing. Try the Brooklyn Blast on tap and if youre hungry you definitely wanna grab a seat in the dining area and try the blue ribbon fried chicken! I never tried bowling yet because theres always a long wait, so if youre coming here for that I suggest you get there early, or eat while youre waiting. If youre watching a band and capturing the set list is your thing, this is one of the easiest places to snag it. If youre driving in, I usually find parking right around the corner.

This place will be great even it is such a scene, if you will get an alley! Went to play and they do not take a reservations. When we get there there is only few lanes available cuz 10 of them are booked parties!!! So we said, we will eat anyway, lets sit down and have dinner first. After 3 hours we decide to ask friendly staff if we can actually bowl? We find out that we will have to wait probably one more hour. So I went to see how busy the alleys are and find out that it is owners wife who is bowling in 10 lanes! I tell you what, If I am the owner, I will open for my wife at any time so she can take all lanes but during the regular hours when I am open for business! I guess they make way too much money, so why bother!

What a unique locale for watching a concert. As a concert venue, bar, or bowling alley, it wouldn’t be the best in category for any of the three, but each is quite good and together make for an interesting and unique experience. The bowling lanes are well upkept and the space feels modern and trendy. There can be a very long wait during concerts though, so make sure to put your name in early. The bar is fairly good with some decent craft beer selections and non-astronomical prices. The concert space is not bad as well with a nice wide open area that is close to the bar and bowling. The best part is being able to watch the concert while bowling thanks to a raised area.

I went there for a quarterly sales meeting with my company, which was a really cool way for them to change things up then the standard office meeting. The place is huge, it was filled with at least 150 of our employees. With tons of room. Brooklyn Bowl catered the whole event with well season wings, calamari, fries, soft beverages and much more. The bar is spacious with enough counter space for many people to get to the bartender. In the end we were able to bowl a couple of games. The venue had a really nice ambiance to it which is great for meetings, dates, having a guy or girl night, or just bringing your family over. I will definitely go there again.
