This place has not been open that long, but it is the only aquarium of its kind in Brooklyn. We have a 54 gallon tank, and we were having issues with fish fighting (and killing each other ) we had settled with getting all one species which we were not happy about since we wanted a tank with a variety of fish. Taso has ALL THE FISH KNOWLEDGE. Im telling you, you knows how to pair various breeds of fish. He understands fish and their individual needs. Because of his amazing fish knowledge, we are able to have the variety tank we always wanted and no casualties. All of his fish are strong and healthy, and of he doesnt think one of his fish will make it, he wont sell it to you. He also has a myriad of other accessories in his shop. Note: if you are looking for something special, just ask and he probably can get it for you. Love Archer fish aquarium!!

Came here to help "restart" my 29 gallon aquarium after the ammonia level skyrocketed and killed all the fish. After restarting my aquarium from scratch and cycling it for a week, I brought a sample to the store, who suggest to align my pH level prior to adding fish. After doing, that I bought a number of beautiful black veil angelfish and cardinals.. The fish are super healthy, happy and seem to be enjoying the new aquarium. Tasos knowledge is unparalleled and he is always willing to talk to discuss fish, their habits and required habitat as well as suggest best ways to set up the tank. Definitely coming back for more fish

Store is small and clean. Marine tanks are nicely stocked with healthy livestock. Good selection of corals and fish. Freshwater tanks are also clean with a decent variety of fish and a few you dont see at your regular pet store. Only thing that needs some help would be the health of the plants. Ok variety, but they dont look so well. Other then that a great clean place and the owner is a friendly knowledgeable guy.

Taso, the owner, knows his stuff about fish and keeps his tanks clean and takes care of his fish. Very helpful and his store has the odd fish you dont see at other places. I found so many fish I never seen before. He helped me order stuff I needed ad well. His store is a must visit!
