Course is ok at best but The mangement is very unproffessional especially the Bleach Blond Elderly Lady, I believe her name is Janet. If you look at the Webpage they conviently show you spring rates that change at 12am and they show you november - December rates that change to a reduced rate at 11pm Heres the real scam they show no rates for Jan Feb March. You will find they quote you one rate over the phone and they will charge $5.00 more when you check and conveniently remove any Senior discounts during the uncertain Time Jan thru April 6th.If you have a beer in your cart weather you bought it there or not The The Bleach Blond Beer NAZI will open the beer and pour it on the ground in front of you. If you go in the Bar upstairs its generally empty because 80% of the customers will go else where for a drink, Now thats real smart business !

Have played a lot of courses in the South Jersey area....and always enjoy playing this course most of all. The conditions are always above average,,,,seems the grounds crew take pride in keeping the course looking good. Greens are challenging...hole positions are changed regularly ....as are some tee markers. Not an overly long course..but very challenging due to elevation changes..I know a lot of people complain about the Staff...but i find everyone to be quite friendly...yes yes even JANET....If you follow the rules..you will have no problem...The girls in the bar are the BEST....AS IS THE FOOD...Gotta try the Italian Grilled cheese sandwich....A nice day of golf at a reasonable price.

Im 58 years old and have been playing golf since I was 12. I am new to the area and have been looking for a home course. I have played Westwood 4 trimes. The course is short and easy but in good condition. A good place to work on your game, but not much of a challenge. However, each time I played I felt I was unwelcome: the staff was rude and treated me like a kid playing for the first time. I have played some of the best courses in the country and my former home town course was a Robert Trent Jones Golf Mag. top 100. Im not used to being treated with disrespect. Yesterday was the final straw. I will never return.

I play here a lot and the course is in always in good shape, Thanks to Dave and his crew. Doug & Bart have always been very friendly to me and are good people. Janet is the most arrogant and nasty person I have ever met at a golf course. If you can get out before she shows up you will have fun. I dont know off any of the regulars that like her. She needs to stay away or take management training, although I dont think there is enough training to take care of nasty!

Not a bad track to work on your game. the problem is, its a family business that struggles with the hospitality portion of the business. if they were willing to hire a professional with experience in the industry, they would have a well maintained course, they could charge more and the customers would return because they were treated right. the owners are rude and you can tell the culture of the place is poor- the employees appear scared and paranoid all the time.

07/28/2014 - Played again at this course. It was $49 to play which I thought was pricey. The woman asked me "Do you want to play on grass?" .... .... silence Lots of dog legs not long but the greens are insane. Worth the price. I played a nine hole threesome on Sunday afternoon. Greens were -very- challenging. You wont need your driver much because there are a lot of dog legs. I sneaked some beer in so that is always a positive.

Course is nice and in great shape but on a beautiful sunny 80 degree Saturday morning in late April, they allowed a foursome to walk the course...this proceeded to hold up EVERYONE for the entire day and we werent allowed to play through...the new ownership of this course should NOT allow people to walk the course on weekends when every tee time slot is full...VERY poor management to allow such a thing!!!

Decent golf course for the price. Cart paths arent the best but the greens are fast and cups changed often. The course also has great topography and decent landscaping. The fairways arent the best but the arent the worst. They fall in the middle with some holes featuring well trimmed and quality grass and others arent so nice. Overall it is a good course to play for a decent price.

A challenging course. Some holes are really tricky. Recently under new management. They should consider getting the course reviewed once again by USGA. Some hole are rated poorly. For eg hole 15 is rated as 3rd easiest hole, when infact it should be the 3rd hardest hole. Overall really nice course to play and the new management seems to be fully engaged.

Customer Service at this course is the worst Ive experienced in the Philadelphia area. The management is rude, ignorant and does not run a golfer friendly course (particularly the old nasty grey haired woman). I recommend playing elsewhere, theres plenty of other great, customer friendly courses to choose from in South Jersey.

It seeMs to be a common complaint. the management accepts your money when they know it will rain. then they ask you to leave and refuse to refund your money. The bitter old seahag in the clubhouse is an angry disgrace of a manager. The course is in terrible condition and the staff is ignorant and disrespectful. STAY AWAY!

Beautiful course, very well kept, and in great condition. An interesting layout and great price. The only down side was that my cart was slow and the windshield was taped and cracked and needed to be replaced (my buddies cart was good though). Would recommend playing here for sure! =)

One of the best and reasonably priced courses in the So. Jersey area. Generally well maintained with a layout that provides an enjoyable round of golf for all skill levels. The owners are friendly and generally accommodating. Errant shots on the back 9 will cost you a few strokes.

I am new to golfer....but greens were nice. Fairways were kept nice as well....problem for me is that there are several holes where you cant see past the first 125yards. When it is crowded you cant tell if the greens are clear or sometimes where the hole is located.

If i could only play this course without dealing with such unprofessional employees. They have a way of making you feel like they are doing you a favor by playing at their average, at best, course. Janet, the old blonde witch, is absolutely an eyesore.

Always well maintained. Front 9 are forgiving while the back 9 offers much more challenging holes. Janet and Ken take great pride in their course and its always a good experience playing Westwood. Beer is always cold :-)

I agree with John. If your plan is it to enjoy a day of golf look elsewhere. If you want to play at a mediocre course overseen by a granny tyrant this is a course for you.
