RAR Consulting

Small park for kids with nice modern playground equipment, and basketball courts with restrooms. Sheltered picnic table area, but close to busy road and so noisy. A desultory short walk around 3 vernal pools, the last with frogs. No longer walks into the trees or to the Fishing Creek swampland that we could find; and no map at the park. The shore is across the busy street, not here. SO - not the place to go for walks or shore birds, and not associated with the Zoo and other features of the whole park, as some reviews dont make clear.

We are fortunate to live near the CMC Park and Zoo system. Ive been to many zoos, paid plenty in entrance fees, and far and away have found that the free CMC Zoo beats them all.

Loads to do here. You have the zoo with a ton of animals to view. Especially love the bird house. I could spend hours in there.

Great place to take the kids. Nice playground and basketball courts. Also has a full size soccer field and baseball field.
