I love this place. So what it is not all sparkly and clean, its a campground. Electricity, water, and sewer are all good and functional. Large campsites and lots of hills and trees. The owner Dan is top notch and very accommodating. Restaurant has great food and comfortable atmosphere. If you are looking for a campground with structured activities for young kids this is not the place. More fit for adults wanting a place to stay while working in the area or just a getaway. If I am ever in the area again I would stay here.

Wouldnt say it was great but definitely private. I have a little hatchback and was able to navigate the roads with a little caution. Firewood that was bought was just laying on ground unsheltered, some rotted all infested with various insects. Would not recommend buying it if you dont have a truck bed to put it in. Still finding little critters in my car. Some loud neighbors that carried on into the night but the privacy outweighs the noise to me. Depends on what you like. I would go back.

Awesome campground in the heart of Vernon, close to Mountain Creek and walking distance from AT trail heads. Really sweet family, very accommodating. The sites were well maintained and the facilities were clean and easily accessible. Great spot to forage too--lots of edible medicinal plants growing everywhere. I was able to drive my dinky little corolla around the entire property, even after the rain. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful scenery, the staff was very nice - they supplied us firewood, great food, hot showers and clean bathrooms. They even remained open late for us so we could check in. Me and all of my friends had a great time last weekend! I will definitely be staying here again when I am back in the area.

Been here with family and friends on multiple occasions. Had a picnic down by the lake and went to the snack bar for ice cream afterwards. Friendly staff and great location. Also looking forward to their yearly music festival: Hulavom!

i used to make weekend trips up after graduation from william paterson.found it by accident.really enjoyed my time here.family run,campsites,cookouts...back then i think i paid about 5bucks to spend the day there.

Worst campsite ever. You need to own a 4X4 to even drive in the parking lot. The bathrooms were disgusting and I didnt even dare to venture in the showers. The bathroom doors had feces on them.
