Ive been bowling at Harbor Lanes on and off the past 20 years and seen quite a few changes over the years. But for the most part I think its good. The 2 older negative reviews from 9 months before are totally incompetent; they dont know what theyre talking about whatsoever and sounds almost like off-topic spam. However, I can kinda understand Erics concern with not enough oil for league practice and a bad staff member. For the most part, I have never had a problem with staff (under current "Strike Zone" ownership, that is.....), maybe it was an off night perhaps........... And usually the lanes dont seem that dry- compare to Thunder Bird Manahawkin which is consistently bone-dry. But normally the staff is always awesome, especially Deb. Yeah the pin action is so-so compare to other bowling allies and maybe the lanes could be kept up a little better. Case in point, I was a little disappointed in my lane as one shot the rack dropped right after I threw the ball. The fairly new staff person, assuming it was my fault, said "you should look next time." (He wasnt watching til the ball smacked the rake.) He wasnt too bad otherwise but perhaps this is the guy Eric Bunch is referring to. Otherwise, for $2 games on Wednesdays and overall reasonable rates compare to most other bowling allies, I cant really complain!!!!!!

I called and asked if they had open lanes and the guy wasnt even sure if they had a league or not but said if they do its a small league and theyd have open lanes. I then asked if they oiled the lanes today and he said no they oil TWICE A WEEK! ( can you say wow. Thats a good way to ruin your lane surface ) so I then asked if it was possible to have them oil a pair for a group of league bowlers to come in and practice for fall leagues and whatnot. He said "not a chance" Well good sir. Thats one way to not only lose business but league bowlers as well. Its all good. Theres plenty of other places to bowl. Especially when your rude like that!

nice small place. great for family. kid friendly. people are nice. food was surprisingly good. pizza was thin and crispy. chicken wings were surprisingly good, given most places dont fry it right. mozarella sticks were good too...even zeppoles were bite size and good as well. bowling lane we were on, not so great. but overall we all had fun...will go again.

I must say i have been to alot of places bowling. This is one of the best for family fun! The people are so nice n helpful from the front counter to the snack bar. The whole place was filled with a good crowd of ppl witch is important to me since I bring my little ones. Great Family Fun!

Gotta be the best alley in Atlantic county. I go here often and Ive had great experiences. I tried King pin but the lanes were super greasy and I had less control of my ball. Plus strike zone has pizza guys pizza which is really good.

I love to bowl but unfortunately I have been sitting out for a while but I enjoy watching other people who love to bowl very nice sweet people who works there great place to take the whole family on a Saturday afternoon

Please, do not waste your money by visiting over there. Most of the lane floor is broken. Poor bowling equipment. Not a good place to bowling.

No oil on the lanes what so ever. I had to loft it every single time so I could make it down the lanes. Very dirty. I would NOT recommend

Worst lane, I saw ever. Most of the lane is almost half broken. Totally cheap bowling ball club. Dont waste your money.
