Sprawling between Route One and halfway back to Route 27, this park includes multiple areas to play (playgrounds, tennis and basketball), picnic, walk/run/bike, open fields for other sports or hobbyists (RC/Drone) and more. There is an outdoor theater for seasonal Plays in the Park, a seasonal Ice Rink on the stocked and fishable lake and even a summer camp site. A handful of art sculptures and memorials dot the grounds, along with a tranquility garden completed as a scout project by a local troop.

Very busyon the weekends with families, which is expected but can easily become over crowded despite the huge size of the park. The playgrounds and fields are far apart which is nice but the only parking is adjacent to those areas which leads to the crowding. If they threw another lot or two next to some of the open fields, more people would show up for picnics or outdoor sports.

There is a nice and small lake. There is also a small bridge on the lake. Children love that. Other than that several playareas for children, a health trail, and several picnic tables. The box restrooms near the lake are generally locked, but you can find another proper restroom near the play area south of the lake. Overall a nice picnic place and worth a drive public park.

The trail around the lake is really nice. Cute little play area for the kids as well. The benches around the trees on the other side make for good potluck picnic spaces. There are grooves around the park that you can book for events. Tennis courts, basketball courts, theater and trails make this park great! Wish there were more gazebo

Very beautiful, clean, family friendly it has the theater opened in summer months which can be very exciting experience just bring toy comfortable chair... the theater is opened ...fresh air...sitting with your chair on the clean lawns surrounded by beautiful trees

My favorite park. Ive been going there since I was a little girl. beautiful... clean... walking paths... lake... picnic groves... outdoor theater for summer plays in the park... tennis courts... basket ball courts... a skating rink... and more.

Beautiful park to take a walk or bring your kids to play. Even have a outside party or cookout. There are multiple playgrounds around the park so if one is really filled, you could either drive or walk on a path thats provided

Nice park nestled in the hustle and bustle of Edison. Take a walk around the pond or plan some time with kids in the play area. Has something for people of every age. But can get crowded on days with good weather.

I visited this place after a long time as this was suppose to be a very beautiful place to hang out but I was so disappointed when I saw the lake. I never expected this lake in such a dirty and filthy condition.

Nice place for an evening stroll. Small lake. Basketball courts, tennis courts, childrens play area, picnic spots. Theres also a day camp summer camp for kids. Has ice skating facility in winter

Lake get a stocked with trout, but its definitely not am ideal fishing spot. Lots to sunfish for kids, playground, and nice scenery for walks. Lake is not deep, but quite large in the middle.

Edison centric and quiet place with a well kept pond, makes it good for a walk or jogging. Its small playground and skating rink, allows entertainment for small and young children.

Love this park. Superb and peaceful. Nice tennis courts. In winter they have ice skating rinks. Very peaceful walking trails. Overall a great place to walk and play with kids.

Very nice walking park, and the Veterans memorial is beautiful filled with nice quotes. I wish there was some sort or water attraction. I did not see one while I was there.

Just go here anytime enjoy a peaceful break and best of all - it is free. They have updated the basketball courts, children play grounds and the bridges around the lake.

One of my favorite parks been fishing here since I was a little kid. Nice bass and catfish. Also stocked with some good trout every year. Great place to take a walk.

Nice quiet picnic areas. Some groves you have to pre registrar with the park but there are also free ones. Also has a nice lake with a couple of walking trails.

Excellent large park with a lot of things to do. There are basketball courts, groves, trails, and a lake. In the winter there is an ice-skating rink.
