Verona park is a beautiful walkable place, with a lovely lake, and bridge that make a beautiful backdrop for amateur and professional photographer alike. Great spot for running too. Cons: -Most of the water fountains around the park dont work. -No bike rack, it would be really nice if I could park my bike there and go for a run. Misc: Fantastic spot for pokemon go. If you stay at the bridge, there are three pokestops that have lures up most of the day. You can see people walking around playing pokemon all day long.

Great park! I came here to kill some time, and its big enough to spend some time walking around and enjoying nature without hearing too much of the Bloomfield Ave traffic. I didnt try out the boats, but its cool they are there and theres a place to get some snacks to. Its got some really beautiful scenery, a garden, and a playground for kids. If youre looking for a place for some quiet solitude or a place to spend the afternoon with the fam, this is a solid option.

Whether youre looking to picnic, walk, run or show off your sick rollerblading moves, Verona Park can accomodate you! Its a beautiful, large park with a walking path around the lake. There are exercise stations for those of you with enough upper body strength to pull yourself up onto things, and a playground for the kids. Unfortunately, the park tends to attract gangs...of geese, but as long as you dont make eye contact, you should be fine!

One of the nicest parks in Essex County. It was designed by the same landscape architect that designed Central Park, so it is very well laid out. The park features a "par course" with several exercise stations laid out around a running / walking path that is about a 1.1 miles loop. There is also a fairly large lake that is popular with fisherman and has a large boathouse that features a small cafe as well as paddle boat rentals.

This is a really nice park for walking around or working out. I see all sorts of people going around it, walking dogs, riding bicycles with kids, or taking a jog. They have paddle boats for rent, random jungle gym setups here and there like monkey bars and balance beams, and some wide open fields. Its a great park for a variety of people and occasions.

Verona Park is home to families and friends walking, people taking their faithful companion dogs with them, or walking alone. A number of people enjoy boating on Verona Lake. A beautiful waterfall, a big lake, and a walking path can show why people enjoy this park.

Beautiful cherry blossoms most of them pink you have a water and a walkway its a long Bloomfield Avenue there are all kinds of flowers on the grass in the grass they nice relaxing to visit The stores along the park as well as Walgreens. April 2017

Very nice park overall. They have some pedal boats and row boats for rent. There are childrens play areas and jogging/skating trails. Lots of greenery around the pond. One thing to note (which we did not until we got there), no grilling allowed.

Verona Park is very relaxing its a save haven for my kidz theyre always in the house except for school so its nice that I can take them some place for fun free of cost keep up the good work guys keep that place clean as always

Plants are very well maintained. Trout gets stocked in the pound in Fall season. So a good fishing spot too. Nice place for running and plenty of opem lush green grass for kids to enjoy. Also pedal boats are available in summer

Lovely Essex County that has it all. Running/walking paths. A lake for boating/fishing. A childs playground. Workout equipment. Bocce courts. Tennis courts. Duck ponds and waterfalls. What else could there be?

Excellent place to spent time with friends and family. The park is large enough that you can always find a place without crowds. Also an excellent location for small family portrait sessions. Also pet friendly!

Beautiful weather and paddle boating make for a nice activity on a quiet Sunday. You definitely get in your exercise for the day peddling the boat! The people working there were nice and helpful.

Always a great choice for a party to go for a run or just relax. I love their installed fitness areas placed around the area. Great for children with the paddle boat and playgrounds as well.

Beautiful, serene, gorgeous lake, play area for kids thats enclosed, clean bathrooms, paddle boats for rental, plenty of parking. Wish there were more picnic areas such as benches or gazebos

One of my favorite parks to go to. Beautiful scenery and kept very clean. There is an area for children to play, they have a snack bar, and peddle boats for some fun. Great for picnics!

Nice park with boats, cafe, playground, exercise equipment etc. It gets really packed on the weekends and parking can be hard to come by but the park is beautiful.

Beautiful, hillside park. Fenced play area with bathrooms and water fountains. Surprisingly peaceful for being in such a busy area. Paved paths, boating and more.

A really lovely park. Lots of married couples have photos taken here because of the nice foliage and stone bridge. It was also designed by the Olmsted Brothers.
