I like to come here to run, watch out when you walk to the East end, that fountain likes to spray that foul water around during the windy times of day. You can do pullups, sit ups, etc. On the North end. South East end is kid friendly 1-10 with plenty of grass, playground, and benches. No bike lane, the speed limit is 15, but only on that street. Northwest following east is 30 without bike lane so its not so bike friendly here. I have never had issues finding parking. Great place to feed ducks as well, they also have a beautiful swan roaming about nearly always. The magestic animal had lost its lover a few years back, so it runs around alone.

The lake is beautiful and the small park across the street is always empty. My kids LOVED the lake and park as toddlers, especially chasing the ducks and geese around. A couple of brisk walks around the lake is a nice little workout. The houses right across from the lake are awesome but so many cheaper ones have been built around the side of the lake that theres always a lot of cars causing it to lose much of its charm. Still a great spot.

I come here very often because its a great park to walk my dogs and they seem to always have fun. Its also great for walks, runs, and jogs. I wouldnt recommend coming with a group here as the trail is pretty narrow. Also, the park needs more cleaning and water restoration. Other than that, I invite people to come give this park more attention.

This place is dope I love just walking or jogging around it... people are pretty chill. They have a little dock thats really good if you just need to clear your head. But overall I usually end up here several times a week and love it.... it does get a tad chilly so bring a swaeter :-)

Great spot right in the middle of Reno. Has a park with two playgrounds and a covered picnic area as well as a maintained walk around the lake. Plenty of pigeons, seagulls and ducks for the kids to play with and the dogs to chase. Definitely a great place to spend an afternoon!

Very nice park here for kids, and the walk around the lake itself is easy and shaded most of the way. Some of the sidewalk needs a little tlc, but it still makes a great place to be outside and enjoy some fresh air in a beautiful neighborhood.

This park is in a great location, has 2 convenient paths completely surrounding the lake, and has plenty of parking. Ive walked around the lake at many different times of day, including evenings, and have never felt unsafe or hassled.

Nice place to view, walk, bike or get some air. Lake is full as of July 2017. Very nice distance around whole lake. Evenings has to be really nice to walk your dogs at that time or earlier in the morning. To hot during summer days

The water was disgusting. My girlfriend and I took our dog and we wouldnt even let her get near it. We must have passed at least 3 dead ducks in the water. Nobody takes care of this place. Dont waste your time.

If your looking for a place to walk near water this is one of the places. A little dirty from all the bird poop but still enjoyable. Also has little exercising spots to do body workouts along the way.
