Went here for a bachelor party. We could not get a reservation for dinner until 11:00. When we arrived at 11, they made us wait until midnight before sitting us and gave us tons of attitude when asking when the table would be ready...like it was OUR fault that they could not deliver on the reservation? After we spent $1,000 on the late dinner, you would have thought they would treat us decently. Well, they stamped our wrists and told us to go outside to wait in a line...which we did...then, somehow, they did not give me the second, required stamp after I had waited in the line for 30 minutes so when I got upstairs to the club, I had to go back down to the line to get the second stamp where they told me to get into the back of the line all over AGAIN. When I told them that was unacceptable as I had already waited in the line and their idiot, crack-head staff dropped the ball on giving me the second stamp, they threatened to kick me out of the club. I wish they had. I finally got into the club after waiting in this line a second time and my cell phone battery was dead so I could not get ahold of anyone from my party to find them. I then went back down to the entrance, explained my situation (which these idiots caused) and asked the door man if there was another exit out of the club because at this point, I decided to stay by the exit and just wait for my friends. He recognized me from earlier and decided my situation was funny to him so he told me with a smirk on his face, "I do not know, maybe there are other exits, maybe theres not". I then asked him what his name was b/c I wanted to complain to their management about the treatment I was getting from him and he got all gangster with me and responded with "You dont need to know my name, you can call me G, and Im gonna have someone drop you in about 2 seconds if you say another word". Totally rude, unhelpful, unaccomodating, physically threatening, and moronic staff at the door...completely unreal. They really ruined my night after I had spent a small fortune there. Anyways, needless to say, I will NEVER go back there and the guys working the door, "G" if you are reading this (actually, he is probably not literate), you should learn to treat other people with some respect and courtesy rather than anger and hostility. You took the one situation in your life where you could pull a power trip like you did and milked it for all you could, I hope you sleep well at night knowing what a complete waste of space you are. You are not gangster, you are not hard core, you live a meaningless, pathetic life and I hope you realize it before too long and make some changes...

"I would like to make you well aware of how your manager and security staff treated me as a paying customer and out of town, first-time-visitor to Las Vegas and Tao nightclub. I had my girlfriend, Elbony Hawkins, purchase our tickets in advance to attend the Halloween event being hosted by Snoop Dogg. I flew four hours from Georgia to attend a girlfriends birthday celebration for the weekend and the first stop was to be Tao. I got to Tao around 1am and was denied admittance because of having a non expired temporary license. A temporary license which is issued in Nevada as well as Georgia, until a hard copy is mailed. The Asian security guard with the gray beard escorted me out of the front of the venue and handed my license to the black security guard over the velvet rope who asked "what happened?" I explained and he told me that what the Asian security guard said went, so I asked for a manager I was referred to a white, short, bald man who was in a casual conversation with an officer. I interjected and complained about the service I had been receiving and the grievance of having travelled almost five hours to only be denied entrance over my valid state issued ID. Your staff and manager was completely unapologetic and patronizing stating- "Sweetie, its out of my hands its state law." My friend insisted on a refund and he said that we should ask for it from the merchant not them. The next day I contacted Tao and was greeted by Katie, Im assuming a hostess, she asked what my call was in regards to in order to speak to management and she seemed surprised being that two female tickets were purchased and I was denied entrance, she told me a manager would be in contact right away. Kristy called me back and asked for Elbony-how she even got that Elbony purchased our ticket is still unknown to us. Kristy offered a full refund and no apology. No one from Tao apologized to either of us for the inconvenience we had incurred and of course an apology now from Tao would be forced and lack any contrition. For future attendance of other out of state patrons to your establishment you should inform them of YOUR policy of not allowing patrons in with temporary IDs or who dont meet your superficial criteria. We both will be sure to follow up this negative and costly experience not only with our friends but our social media followers and the BBB."- This was the letter I sent to Tao Nightclub 11/3 and never got a response back and JUST today (12/11/2014) the refunded my girlfriend only half of the money spent on our tickets.

This place was beyond disapointing. Luckily we got in free because we knew someone. First off before we even got through the door, They said it was okay for us to go. So I go to walk in and a bouncer HITS me in the face with his arm to stop me, he knew what he was doing and didnt even say he was sorry. They shouldnt touch anyone like that, specially a Female. It doesnt take much to say please wait. Once you get in, there are people blocking the entrance Dancing. The bistro was right in the front and the music was so loud I dont know how anyone could enjoy a meal. The bathrooms were so disgusting and smelled like they have never been cleaned. I was scared to even touch the door. They charged us 5 dollars to hold our coats on a tiny coat rack in the middle of a room with 2 bouncers that wernt paying any attention. We then get into the club and It was so packed with people you couldnt move. We lost our group in the crowd and couldnt find them the whole night. Then the bouncers literally PUSH you to move. I was pushed 4 or 5 times just by the bouncers. I was burned 3 times by cigs, and got my drink pushed into my face. I swear if there was a fire Noone would be able to get out. They let Way too many people in this place. It was disgusting how many drunk, sweaty people you have to touch just to get around. People doing drugs all over the place. The place was just disgusting. The drinks were ridiculously over priced and wernt even good. The waitresses were sweet hearts. Thats probably the only good thing about this place. They say they have a Strict Dress code and u need to look good, yet people look like they just rolled out of bed, there were like 4 pregnant girls in clothes they should Not be wearing. End of story. This was my first time ever being at a night club. So Im not an expert as to how these places are supposed to be. But if all clubs are anything like this. I cant understand how anyone would want to pay so much money for an experience like that. The bouncers were the Worst out of the whole place. They are complete assholes who need to learn how to respect a woman. Thank god I didnt have to pay to get in this place. Tao makes a high school house party look more appealing.
