The volunteers are really awesome. They tell you a lot about the different lions and their personalities. When we were there they were feeding a few of the lions so that theyll move around. I read that lions can sleep up to 20 hours a day so its rare to moving, jumping, and standing to get meat. The lions have always been here while the MGM had a lion exhibit, but now that that has closed the lions stay here. They have a 3 year old giraffe named Ozzie as well and the volunteer the day we went gave us a ton of info abut the only giraffe in Nevada. We saw him paint a few strokes in a small canvas as well. We probably spent about 45 minutes, but it was worth the $50 or so for our family. They also have some tropical birds, emus, and ostriches.

Stunning & Majestic Lions. I had no idea this place existed until just recently. And WOW how amazing it is. First off, these lions have ALWAYS lived here and where transported daily to the MGM for their show. They were taken and brought back every day, what a true testimony of how gentile and majestic these creatures trylu are. Secondly, they have 29 lions on site, with birds and a giraffe as well. It is clean and well kept. You can tell everyone there really enjoys their jobs, as well as loves the lions. The owners are fantastic and the employees offer up a lot of educational information. I cant say enough great things about the Lion Habitat Ranch, everyone should go thats for sure!

We visited last weekend and it was absolutely unbelievable. Benny, Bentley, Metro and Jesse were our favorite male lions. We hand fed Benny, got to see the little lion cubs, the giraffe... it was unbelievable. I definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking to do something life-changing and different than the typical Las Vegas strip stuff, and I even recommended that our cab driver let his passengers know they should visit. It was really evident that everyone there really loved these lions and cared for them. They even have their own private enclosures with air conditioning. Definitely make this one of your stops while youre in Vegas.

As with any of these facilities, it is sad to see these beautiful creatures in captivity. While their pens here are very clean, they are also very small and there is no vegetation or anything natural in the pens. I thought this was a rescue but learned that is not the case. I am giving them a high mark because it is obvious that they are taking good care of the animals. The staff were all very nice and engaged with the animals. I do hope that if they get additional land they dont get additional animals, but rather give those they have more space.

Such a great experience! I have lived in Vegas for 13 years and have never visited before. Just driving into the parking area you could hear the lions "chuffing" and roaring to each other. Volunteers are friendly and answer all questions. The animals look well-cared for. There are ostriches, exotic parrots, Ozzie the giraffe, and all those gorgeous and regal lions and lionesses. Only problem I had was with my GPS. It took me to a FedEx building, not the habitat. The habitat is located off St. Rose and Bermuda.

This is a regular stop on our vacations to LV, and it will continue to be!! There men and women who work here spent time answering our questions and gave us tons of interesting information. We even got to go home with some lion hair, which is super cool. And the cherry on top was when the lions all began to roar at the same time. I was in heaven! I would recommend visiting this gem off of the strip. It is one of my favorite things to do :)

We were looking for something to do as a family that we hadnt done before, and that wasnt on the strip (or too expensive) so we looked this place up. I read so many reviews and every one was positive so we were very excited to go. It was one of the best family days we have had. The lions were amazing and so beautiful! Everyone there was so nice and willing to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be making another visit!

What a great experience with friendly volunteers!! They are happy to answer any questions. This place is a gem. To see all the beautiful animals is amazing. I am still in awe. They are all well taken care of and just absolutely a great experience. And cant forget about Ozzie the painting giraffe! Like I said its a must see on your way to Vegas. $25 for adults and kids are free with a paying adult. Worth every penny.

Everything was unbelievable - the staff were friendly and very informative, and they obviously love the animals. Facility was spotless and built to give the animals the best possible surroundings. The lions were well-cared for, well-groomed and just lovely. So were all the imus, ostriches, other birds and Ozzy the baby giraffe! A MUST SEE for all locals and Las Vegas visitors alike. The Best!!!

Not a lot of people know about this place, but they should! Its a tremendous resource for us here in the valley to be able to go and see these magnificent animals so readily. The lions all look very well cared for, and the staff gave us some interesting info about them, too. I got to feed a giraffe, which was awesome.

I absolutely loved visiting here. I brought my girl scout troop and all the girls had fun and learned a lot for Joelle. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the animals. I would definitely recommend visiting the lion habitat to everyone because it was a great way to spend the day.

There are many lions to visit. They also have a giraffe, which just turned 2, and ostriches and various other birds. There are five lion cubs who are fed every day at 1pm by the owner, Kieth. Kieth is wonderful and shows that there is much love for these animals and their happiness. Mind the splash zones.

Absolutely AMAZING! It is kinda pricey, but WELL WORTH IT! The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable, and the animals were beautiful. You get up close and personal with the type of cages they have, and you are able to see the staff interact with the lions. Very fun, look forward to going again.

I had a Groupon for a behind the scenes tour so we went for my birthday. Its a bit pricey otherwise. We were early so sat in the car outside. Hearing the lions roar was surreal. They are pretty loud!! John was our tour guide and he was excellent. He used to work with the cats at the MGM, and...

The Lion Habitat is a GREAT experience. My wife and I decided to check this place out and we walked away in awe of these beautiful (and massive) animals. We were pleasantly surprised at how close we were able to get to the lions and still feel safe...youre behind a fence so dont Panic
