Let me take a moment to respond to the 2 star review written by Vijay Danushkodi which states, "Stadium is filled with a bunch of brain dead Mid Western idiots who enjoy getting drunk off of cheap beer and shouting random things while looking like idiots." Dear Vijay, First of all, it is ironic that you have labeled the near 38,000 people who fill up "Kauffman Stadium as brain dead Mid Western idiots" because your scribbled post on the back pages of a Google review message board may be the single most idiotic feat in the history of human accomplishments--that includes surpassing both slavery and the founding of ISIS. Not only have you disrespected the people of Kansas City with your ignorant blaspheming, you have disrespected the nation as a whole. Baseball is our national pass-time, Vijay, it is American down to its very core. I imagine many other fine stadiums across this great nation, just like Kauffman Stadium, fill with people who people enjoy drinking beer and shouting. Because, Vijay, drinking beer and shouting is fun. Being critical of others in a way that lacks any sort of backing and uses nondescript gibberish to insult your country is cowardly. I doubt youll ever read this, but its really besides the point. The point is to take a stand, and let people know that Google Reviews like this are just not okay. And Im not sure where youre from, Vijay. Maybe the east coast, maybe the west coast, maybe youre so pathetic that youre a self-loathing mid westerner who had to move away because you just couldnt be proud of your dad who worked hard for his living. I do know one thing though, I love Kauffman Stadium, and Im going to thank God every day for the rest of my life that youve gotten the hell out of Kansas City.

This past Saturday was my 11th visit to Kauffman Stadium this season. I visited 12 times last season, and every time, the experience exceeds my expectations. The parking attendants are always so welcoming. This time it was extremely hot and we arrived early for a Hosmer bobblehead. While we waited in line, employees kept our spirits up, and even cooled us down with a water spray. What a blessing on a hot, hot day! Even though the gates opened up 30 minutes earlier than we were expecting, one of my group succumbed to the heat almost immediately and ended up in first aid, with the kind assistance of our usher. Within an hour or so, two more from our group went to first aid due to the heat. They were treated so well and courteously there. The other three of us braved the heat for the game. During the 6th inning, I went to get food for those remaining in first aid and myself. I missed the excitement of all the home runs on the field, but during that inning, a very kind gentleman from Aramark came up and paid for all my food. I was blown away! He also bought food for the man in line behind me. It was so unexpected and kind. A few more notes, I continue to be amazed by how clean the bathrooms always are. Also, the ease of exiting the stadium parking lot and getting back on the road always surprises me. We were on I-435 N heading home less than five minutes after leaving our spot. Kudos to the entire Royals organization and Aramark for taking such good care of the fans and always treating us like Royalty!

During inning 6, I decided that I would like to eat a dog of a certain temperature (namely, hot). I happily proceeded down from row YY to the nearest manufacturer of previously mentioned dogs. Not to my surprise, I was greeted by a congregation of fellow sports-goers who also desired to feast on said dogs. I awaited my dog eagerly. During my wait, only one person was served at the register after 6 outs had gone by in the game. Thats one dog every 6 outs that they were producing. I was taken aback. I was unaware of the amount of care that was placed into each individual dog by the Kauffman staff. Having my handy dandy iPhone calculator, I was able to quickly do some (really incredibly simple) math as to how long it would be before I received my own dog. I have not the time or patience to explain this math to peasants right now, but it involved counting the people in front of me and using multiplication of 20 minutes per dog produced. I came to the realization that with the love poured into each dog, I would have to wait for 6 and 2/3 hours to receive a dog. By that time, the game would unfortunately be long over. I walked back sadly to my chair, alone and hungry with money in my pockets that Kauffman couldve had but chose not to take. That is all.

If I could chose more than 5 stars, Kauffman Stadium and the Royals association would definitely get it!!!! We attended our very first Royals game a little over a week ago for my sons 13th birthday. We were given tickets and a parking pass from a relative. The staff was AMAZING!!!!! I was highly impressed from the moment we pulled into the parking until the moment we left. Every staff member was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything that we wanted our needed. The facility was spotless clean and had a ton of amenities for both kids and adults. We loved the kids section in the outfield!!! We sat in the Kia Diamond Club section in 126 behind home plate. The view was amazing and the cushioned seats were really comfortable. We had two awesome waiters, Austin and Tyler, who went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we needed. Great job guys, you both deserve a raise!!! Because of our wonderful experience, we will be back as soon as we can!!!!

I was waiting to see the boys in blue for the final time this season, I paid $125.00 to see them I would care if they won or lost, I paid big money to see the farm team play, They really sucked, I could have seen the t-bone play for $5.00 and paid $1.00 for beer, I thank the team Thanks it a big joke but when some people go to the game They really do want to see the team that made the post season, I hope the royals lost the first three game of the play-off and everyone can see what a joke it is, The fans want to see they players they paid to see not the farm team, anyway they will not be here in next year, I guess they thank the fans just dont care, I did get to see a pitcher strike out 15 batters, So I guess that was something to talk about, I thank I will spend my money elsewhere and watch the boys in blue on tv, when the game sucks just turn the station. and bears are only $1.25 a piece

To all the people commenting the prices of the beers or food, you clearly werent going before they entered the World Series. Prices have always been high. You cant put a price on experience and memories. I enjoy the games. I expect to spend $$ if I want water or beer. But you are also welcome to bring your own water if it isnt opened before entering. AMC charges about the same prices, that one you can complain about. But here we have an amazing team who sacrifices family, friends and free time for our pleasure. No one likes negative PEOPLE. I love my team, my family enjoyed games since I was a young girl. Its what our summers were made of. Although now we have to attend less for the ticket increase. BUT thats what we pay for being the World Series Champs!!!!
