Where to start? My friend and I visited on a Saturday night. There were maybe 5 people at the bar and maybe four in the dining area. A band was setting up to play. The first thing I noticed was that the food was EXPENSIVE. I ordered a reuben, which I assumed would be large because it was $9. NINE DOLLARS for a SANDWICH. Yes. Anyhow, I got it with fries. My friend ordered prime rib and some chicken wild rice soup. I had asked for a side salad and the waitress came back and said, "If you want a salad its going to be an extra five dollars." What? For a salad? I can get a whole bag of salad mix for $2.50. I declined. My friends soup came out and it was more like casserole. It didnt even come off the spoon when tipped upside down. I tried it (with a fork) and it was salty. No crackers were brought out to go with it. Anyhow, our food finally came out. My sandwich had about 3/4" of filling in it. For $9. The layer of saurkraut was just a sliver. The layer of thousand island was maybe a nanometer at the most. ;) Anyhow, the fries were good at least. And the sandwich was good, despite the small size. I had to ask for extra dressing though. My friends plate came with a slab of meat and a scoop of potatoes on it. Nothing was on the potatoes. Nothing. She asked the waitress for butter. The waitress came back eventually and said, "I am really sorry but were all out of butter." What? A restaurant is out of butter? Seriously? Moving on, the prime rib she ordered was supposed to be medium rare and it came out almost well done. It was dry and gross. She didnt get any vegetables, either. It was a very bland-looking plate. We did stay afterwards to listen to the band a little bit (that took at least a half hour break in between sets). One small bright spot was that they had $2 mystery bottled beers. I got to try out some new ones. So in summary, the prices were ridiculous, the preparation of food poor, and it was very slow in there. Now I know why.

About a week ago visited The Lodge for a beer and some nachos. Upon arriving i noticed the bartender was particularly chatty, took me about 10 minutes of sitting at the bar, with money in my hand, for an employee to even acknowledge me. I as ordered my beer I asked for a menu, and asked, and asked a third time, still with no avail. During this time of me waiting to see a menu, the red headed woman who was helping me seemed as if she was, rather agitated. After another 10 minutes of drinking my beer, i recieved my menu. As i was waiting for the employee to take my order, i noticed her pouring a shot of whiskey for herself. Working in the bar scene I know that employees wont shy from a drink at work. Not 10 minutes after that passed and she poured herself a second drink, completely ignoring me. I heard the person in the kitchen yell my nachos were finished, as I was waiting for them to come out, she was chatting it up with some other customers, pouing them drinks (including a third for herself). Food was good, the employee situation is a completely different story... Will be going back, but i dont think ill stay for long if I notice that same Red headed bartender working.

Over priced. I was not impressed with customer service at all either. I was there on a Friday night and asked a male waiter if they had any Birthday specials and was snapped at saying they only have Birthday specials on Tuesdays. Then I had to ask if they had any other specials, he said happy hour ended at 6:30pm (it was then 6:45pm). He started to walk away before the conversation had ended when I asked if there were food menus. He mumbled yes and kept walking. My fiancé and I went to the bar for drinks to avoid annoying him any further. The two female bartenders werent very friendly either. The waiter took 15-20 minutes to come back to us and we had to wave him down. I just felt like they acted not happy to be there. Working in a job that is geared in satisfying the customer... they did a crap job. The only thing positive I can say about The Lodge is the boneless bourbon wings were delicious (after they fixed their mess up because they gave us buffalo wings) as well as the cheesy bread. I wont be returning. Ill make my own wings!

I went with a birthday party on a Saturday night. The bartender (Asian girl. Dont know her name) was the rudest bartender ever. Basically I wanted to tell her. If you dont like your job, quit. She was ridiculous. No eye contact, no smiling, just stoned face. I ordered a bloody mary, HUGE MISTAKE. Never get a bloody from there, so nasty. Then our server was rude to our entire party, he actually made it pretty awkward. Couldnt remember anything we had asked him until after 2 or three times of telling him. He had a dinner sitting by the POS for about 15 minutes before he remembered to bring it to the person. Everything took forever and he had a bad attitude. I think maybe he was on something. When he left. He didnt close the ONE TAB FOR EVERYONE, and left the next server (The only sane person) to run around collecting money from people to closeout the tab. Terrible terrible service. Food not good. Wont go back there. It sucked so bad. I had to write a review. Owner, hire some new freaking staff if you want that place to stay open.!

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to!!!!! We arrived at 5:30. At 7pm we still did not have our food! The restaurant was not even busy, which makes this even worse! We had a baby with us and could not wait any longer so had to have the food bagged to go. When we got home and got the baby to sleep, we went to eat our food at 8pm. The burger was burnt so bad that it was actually black and not edible. My entire meal had to be thrown!!! The other burger was not even the one that was ordered! The onion rings were burnt and the tater tots were not even cooked!!! I am so glad that we had to pay for the entire meal but received some free appetizers that we will never use as we will never go back. I would highly recommend no one go to this strip mall dive!!!!

I had come in with a group of my girl friends a couple weeks ago. We sat in the back game room waiting for a server to come over. 10-15 mins had passed by so we decided to order our drinks from the bartender instead of waiting any longer. While waiting for the bartender I noticed 3 servers gathered by the host stand not doing anything but talking to one another. The bartender said shed send somebody over so we could order food but nobody came. as dead as it was we should have been helped right away. We ended up leaving and going across the street to broadway pizza and had excellent service and the food was amazing!! I will not return to the lodge based on my experience.
