I dont wrote much reviews, but with how much I was looking into this place I feel I need to write one. I gave it 3 starts not to change its rating. Its a bar. That is it. Nothing more. If you want a beer, this is a place to go. If you want food, they have frozen pizza. It is that middle aged bar fly blue collar crowd. Im 31 and was the youngest guy there by 15 years. Finding out this place has been open as Opinion for years but they havent fixed their neon sign. I will never go back because if I want a beer I will just go to the strip club like a mile away. If you were doing the Concorde bar crawl, check it out, but dont go any farther out of your way than that.

Interesting to say the least. The beer I ordered came served with 2 delicious fruit flys floating on top. The beer slinger wasnt the most friendly and the clientele just yelled drunken slurs back and forth across the bar in friendly banter. There were two of us. Both had glasses with chips in them. Which is fine for what I now know is "Opinion". My opinion is dont come in with any preconceived ideas of what to expect. This is no local brewery like youre used to.

Stopped by to meet some friends and listen to some music. The band was fantastic! The waitresses were very attentive, as were the bartenders. Drinks were reasonably priced, and though I am not a beer drinker, it appeared they had a very good selection. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because they are under construction so the aesthetics arent great. I will definitely be back to check the progress. I think this could become a pretty great place!

The opinion is a great place. I just dont get we of the people there. Things went down not even at the bar and the so called head of security told the bartenders not to serve me cause of some b.s. he had nothing to do with. It was just me and you needed 6+ people to jump me because I was feed up with his disrespectful ass. You of all people swinging on a pregnant Lady. The video dont lie. But we aint pressing charges so just relax Brent Hurley.

This is the 3rd or 4th time Ive been in the place and each time even when theres nobody there I stand waiting for 5 to 10 minutes for a drink because the wait staff and bartenders are busy talking with their friends. If you want to stay in business act like it. Especially on a night when you are charging a cover. Clear the deck get a decent quality staff in there it will help

Nothing, I liked nothing about it. 3 people in the place when i walked in. Bartender looks at me, served the 3 guys another round talked for 8 minutes to the second, yelled over a hog fan blowing "what can I get ya? " I said nothing, and I left. I gave it a try, wont be back.

New glasses! Seemed like it will be awesome after the construction is done and they will be brewing their own beer! I would have rated it higher if they had a menu. Hell, the music is awesome come out and see the bands and keep tabs on the progress, I know I will!

My company, EGM Radio, sponsored an event held there in April and were very impressed! The staff was friendly and attentive, the sound system was amazing and the venue itself was spacious with a fun atmosphere. We cant wait to book another event there!

This place is an empty weird ghostbar...they have a bunch of stuff available but its old and nothing fresh on tap. Ordered $4 nachos and there was a giant dark hair in the salsa, like 7 inches, how does that happen? Cheese curds were great though.

Just about as many people as there are cars in the new park and ride in Newport. I give them credit they are trying with the decor, but like lipstick on a pig, its still a pig. Thought it was going to be a brewery not just a tap house.

Always have an amazing time here! The people are friendly they have a crazy selection of ciders and much much more always great prices and food is good. They have a comedy show every 3rd sunday of the month... And much more!!

Awful to talk with (the woman on the phone when you call the place) and even more awful staff working with the gigs and shows. canceled a whole gig we had set up here simply bc we didnt want any money going to this bar.

I saw their sign when driving down 494. I was thirsty so thought I would stop for a drink. I drove all around Newport, but never found it. I ended up just going to a bar called red rock. That place sucks.

Excellent local pub, but dont let the deter you. Service is great and its not a "locals only" place where youd feel uncomfortable. Bonus, great beer selection. Id give it 5 stars if it had lousy bar food!

Really great for a metal show! Nice floor to get crazzy on . If there will allow it like it should be at a heavy metal show. There just wasnt enough people. Have more metal shows with bigger bands.

Nothing is good about this place. Found stuff floating in 3 of my 4 beers. Food I dont think is safe to eat and bar needs to be cleaned. Owner was drunk in the bar with there kid. Who does that?

1st time here. They turned previous bowling alley into a stage for bands. Outdoor area was nice for talking and hanging out. 5 stars if they actually had their own beer.

NEEDS to be cleaned bad! Who the hell is the painter??? From the looks of the place he must get paid in beer! Lol! Bar keep was bad place smelled bad and looked worse.

Misleading name, but still have beer to serve. Not a bad local place, I wouldnt drove an hour to go there, but if Im in the area Id drop in for a drink.
