Like the other negative reviews, mine is surrounding dress code. My husband and I were at Urban Eatery with friends and decided at the last minute to check out Mansion. He was in slacks and a button down shirt with collar, but casual Sanuks. :( They wouldnt allow him in (ironically, all of Mansion’s security wears Converse!) We were only allowed on the patio. Really? Relegated to the stature of a dog not allowed into the house?!? Sorry Mansion, but we do have some shred of pride and youre not that special. We walked of course, took a car service home, and they foolishly passed on $100-$200 in liquor sales! They probably could care less though. It seemed plenty busy on this particular night. But they are still riding the novelty of a recently opened club; it’ll definitely wear off soon. It’s unlikely we’ll ever be back. Well keep Uptown for what it does best - restaurants and bar hopping. Clubbing is better done downtown! We club a lot, every weekend in fact, but hate the pretentious preoccupation with attire. What the #$%^ does it matter what someone wears? Business is business. Sales are sales. What is to be gained by a strict dress code? We hang at places like Tangiers (Monarch replacing), Rouge at the Lounge, Rev, and Exchange to avoid these codes. Most everyone looks very nice at Tangiers, for example, but if you show up in a Tee and skater boy shoes, you’re not turned away. You can still order a drink and dance the night away. We simply don’t need the BS from Mansion. We’re lookin’ for good drinks, good service, and good music. Not a place trying hard to be more than they are and full of themselves. Eff you Mansion!

If I could put less than one star, I would. People do not go here! The bouncers and some of their owners are completely unprofessional and violent. Last night some friends of mine couldnt get in because of pockets on a sweater and Jordans on my feet. Ironically we saw people of no color with tennis shoes on walking into the club. So as my friends tried to negotiate things got heated and one of the owners swung at two girls. Yes two young ladies. He tried to punch them and all the bouncers did was try to hold the girls back like they didnt even see what just took place. It was disgusting. Then I confronted the owner who is bald headed with a black beard. He was white or looked of European decent. Kinda foreign looking. I said whyd you swing at a girl and we went back and forth, next thing I know when Im not looking he swings and punches me in the face. It was quite funny because it did nothing but made me blink and laugh and look at this guy like he was crazy. I keep my composure and walk down the street and I get hit from behind a few more times. The owner who hit me sent a random guy to do that. Long story short theyll be hearing from us again but well be professional about it. Boycott this place!!! Just look at the other comments and you can see how bad management is there and how they discriminate. We will make sure everyone knows the true colors of this place. Ill be posting this everywhere.

This place has gone to crap, honestly. When I first went on their grand opening weekend, I must say it was great! Huge crowd, the music was awesome, and good hookah! I went again in the beginning of October, and it was still the same atmosphere which was great! Then I went again on the ending of October, l must say it changed dramatically. Most of the patio area was closed, the music volume was really low, and not many people! Anyway I gave it another try this year... wow! Super empty! Music was horrible. There was More staff than there was customers. Im surprised they still offered bottle service on such a slow night. It felt so awkward just standing there. But Heres some advice you guys should take, dont have such a strict dresscode, its uptown, people dress casual! Bring in some artists in so more people would be interested on attending! The DJ should be on the top balcony, so theres more room. Change the music, fridays could be hip-hop rap top 40s night, Saturdays could be electronic dance music , house, top 40.See if the hookah could be indoors also! Maybe downstairs! Since no one goes down there! Have a theme, like Arabian nights:::

A disappointment and thankful for not paying a cover fee. And its a shame because I enjoy checking out new clubs and have been to many throughout the U.S. The attitudes from the entrance bouncers should have given away the vibe of the rest of the pretentious staff. I witnessed several patrons be turned away for "dress code" issues but they use blatant discrimination and not a legit enforced policy. I am from out of town and entered with my partner only to discover that the wristband I was given allowed me access to the inside dance floor which is "bottle service only" and not my partner. Maybe were not high paying customers, not willing to pay for bottle service but we would have purchased a few drinks each, at the least, had we not been treated as scum when asking questions about the wristbands. Dont waste your time and money if youre looking for a real nightlife experience.

Worst placce to go to; the bouncers have such terrible attitudes and they discriminate. I was with one of my friend and they wouldnt let him in because he looks like someone who come here before and caused a trouble? Such s bullshit because we never see this place? This club just open few weeks ago and we never being there before.. They are just completely racist;

Ive been watching the remodeling of this place since they began. Now I cant wait for the full finish in the basement to see the unique interior design set up. I like the outdoor flow set up. My cousin works security there and I know afew other staff security and staff so it makes it feel like home away from home(in this case Mansion). #MeticulousAppearances

Talk about some specialty cocktails!! our bartender Oscar Lopez lit the garnish on FIRE. if Ur looking for well done cocktails definitely come to this joint. fresh herbs stored in water glasses, freshly peeled citrus garnishes, and Oscar knows how to make an old fashioned right. definitely a quality bar that gives cocktails a good name.

Loved it. I overheard someone in front of me while in line complaining about not being able To get in because of their hoodie they had on. When you see the Plave you can tell its a spiffy joint. Tux or suits is the only kinda thing Id ever wear here. Awesome staff and service. See you guys when Im back in town

Seriously one of the coolest clubs Ive ever been too! Lighting, the sound system, and the staff were on point. Dress code seems simple enough. Dress with class and be courteous to the staff, and they treat you the same way... Homerun, big time!

I love the ambiance here. Hookah on the patio and the attentive wait & bar staff really set it apart from the typical restaurants and bars around uptown. Its definitely a unique, upscale and much needed nightlife venue in uptown.
