First thing there were more pictures like there was a living room withing my rental, it advertised there was a microwave, and mini frig (nothing) ... its advertised like its high end and exclusive cuz you have to use your key to get to the top floor.. It probably was pretty cool back in 1980... So moving on i could tell that the place was cleaned..., but it must of sat vacant for sometime... there was a layer of dust on everything... not to bad,,, well so I thought... there were huge stains on the carpet, I think the roof leaks, because theres fresh, painted spots in different areas all over the ceiling , there was rusty ceiling tiles by the bathroom. The tub was so dissusting, we found over 6 pieces of cerly little hairs in the tub.. We had to clean it before we used it. Then the drain in the tub kept closing, so by the end of your shower it was over you anckels... The toilet kept on plugging up, even with only liquid in it.. On the very first night we put our breakfast card on our door but it kept falling off every time we closed the door. It said it would be picked up by 2am, so at 2:30 I went and waited at the front desk for 10 min or so by then there was another person waiting to.. so she hitting the top of the counter,,, and finally a gentleman came out of the office (from his nap),,, I let the lady go first, and then when I tryed to give my card to him to him, he stated that I should put it on my door.. after I told him they already came and got everyone elses... he was very rude and said for the third time put it on your door.. well at 10am after I didnt get breakfast, I had to go talk to management they gave me a card for the breakfast buffet that day. I payed extra for a room with breakfast included... well guess what the next day no breakfast again.. Why even say anything.. because nobody will even help you... worst customer service I have ever experienced... and Im even a manager of a retail store... and I was checking the reviews and nobody was refunded why say anything.. I CANT BELIEVE HILTON PUT THERE NAME ON THIS PLACE... thats the only reason I payed $300 to stay here.. I HAVE STAYED AT BETTER HOTEL 6S FOR $35 A NIGHT... SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE .. I WOULD OF ASKED FOR A REFUND THE FIRST 30 MIN OF STAYING HERE BUT MANY GUESTS HAVE AND NOTHING ... I WOULD START WITH THE MANAGEMENT... CUSTOMERS COME FIRST.. SMILE, FRIENDLINESS, BE POLITE.. needless to say because of my late start my first day here we werent able to make our arangment. And the second day we were so angry about our stay we didnt even go do anything. .. we just went home... this was our vacation for our 15th anniversary ... It was supposed to be a relaxing weekend away to show my wife the beautiful city and attractions... Thank you for the worst experience of customer service I have ever seen .. I would ask for a refund but even after you have to get maintenence to fix the plugged toilet, tub, rusty ceiling, roof, new carpet and a hole remodel to jump out of the 80s my measly $300 I got robbed from you guy, I mean (non refundable) is only a dent in what you have to con other people out of.. MR. HILTON IM SURE WOULD BE APPALLED. GUEST OF ROOM 878 PLAZA SUITE 8/27/17,and 8/28/17.. I will be waiting to here back from you.... but Im not holding my breath... but to all the employees that prepared/cooked the breakfast buffet, you all should get a raise. 2 thumbs up. And I had better customer service from the wait staff during breakfast then received from management ... If I was the manager here,, I would definitely hire within the wait staff would be the new management... great job wait staff..

PROS: -Friendly, professional staff -North Tower room was HUUUUUGE -Bed and pillows were very close to perfect -Temperature control was exactly what I wanted -The facilities overall is quite clean and nice -Hot water with lots of pressure for shower, also not overdone water softener -Replete with shower towels and rags -2 cup coffee maker in room with trimmings -Plenty of lamps -Clock radio with AUX for your phone -A DESK and computer chair -Largest TV Ive had at a hotel -HBO is complimentary and HD -Reasonable assortment of goodies in the gift shop -Tons of drawer/dresser space CONS: -No fridge -No complimentary continental breakfast -You must pay for WiFi -Smallish trashcans (this is not a real complaint) -Security wont address noise complaints that are outside of the building, only inside. EXPLANATIONS: There was a group of 15 or so people in the courtyard near the east entrance, literally directly between the two towers of the hotel, who were drunk and yelling, full out yelling, waking me up out of a dead sleep at 230am. Im all about merriment, but yelling that wakes up a guy 6 floors away from dead sleep seems like overkill. The front desk person I spoke with said that security wont do anything about it since its outside of the building, and wouldnt budge when I protested that it still appeared to be Double Tree property, as it was fully furnished with chaira and tables, and smack dab in the middle of the towers. He didnt offer to help himself, just stating hed tell security anway, and the group carried on until 330am or so. I opted to go to bed in earplugs, though I debated calling the cops since it was apparently outside of hotel seuciritys jurisdiction. I dont know the rules of hotel security, so I could very well be ignorant of something here. But that just seemed ridiculous to me. Ive also stayed at multiple lower end hotels (Best Western, Days Inn, Super 8, heck even KOAs) that have both free WiFi and continental breakfast. Maybe Im just not used to higher end places, so this may be standard, but I was surprised. I debated on 3/5 because of how miffed I was about the noise issue, but the staff really were pleasant and professional (even the guy I spoke with about the noise) and the place was well kept and spacious, so I dont think it deserves that low a rating. 4/5 overall.

I give it two stars overall because the place is very nice LOOKING. Yes, I will agree with that but dont listen to what everyone else says. I stayed here for a week, and it would be fine if you stay for a large confrence or meeting or if you stay in a LARGE room, but besides that, bad, awful, worse could describe the rooms. A deluxe room is a standard room. A "standard room" is a tiny, claustrophobic, closet to tell you the truth. However, its not a "bad" place, just if you wish to get a nice room you may have to pay alot more. Now everyone likes the internet right? We surf the internet all day right? The Internet usage in the rooms is blocked by blockers. I found that out the hard way because I just unplugged it on accident but the system thought I was tampering with it so it set off a silent alarm. On top of that, internet usage was $5 an hour, $12 a day, or $23 for three days. Now dont even get me started with room service. I tried to order a banana. Care to guess how much? 50 cents, 75 cents, or try $2 plus a $2 proccess fee and lets not forget the gratuity tip and tax. That looks like a cheap snack right? But in the end, it rounds out to approx. $5, FOR A BANANA. Also, if you look in the breakfest section on the menu, want eggs, bacon, and a slice of toast, $8 with all of the add-on fees right? Think again, for that meal is $20 plus the fees and tax! Outragous right? Dont get me wrong about the meeting areas and how fancy the hotel is. Dont stay here on vacation, meetings ONLY. Thats what it was designed for. It is nice looking and I wouldnt blame the other Sheratons, but this is most likely the cheapest Shearaton on room design. Ill give you my ratings on the place below... Lobby - 4 stars (fancy, elegent) Price for rooms - 3 stars (reasonable, not worth it) Quality of service - 2 stars (some nice, some not) Halls - 2 stars (bottom floors cold all year, top floors are white) Rooms - 1 star (just rediculous) Rooms bathrooms - 1 star (are you kidding me?) Service - 1 star (might give it higher if I could speak Spanish) Stay again at this hotel - (absolutly NOT) Dont get me wrong, meetings YES, vacation NO. Thanks for reading!
