I golfed this course yesterday for the very first time and here are my thoughts... COURSE This course was by far on of the most beautifully maintained courses Ive golfed in a while. There was little if any dry spots on the entire course where the grass was dry or burned up. The fairways had little to no divots on them even in the common landing areas on the par 4s and par 5s. The course looked as if it hasnt been played in a month due to preparing the course for a PGA or LPGA Tour event; the course was incredible. Also, for the long hitters who enjoy distance this course offers just over 6900 yards from the sticks and offers multiple scenic and challenging holes. There is quite a few water hazards on the course as well which theyve mowed the rough to so if you were to miss the fairway your ball may run down to the waters edge. This course also has an incredible peninsula fairway signature hole (#17) which was incredibly unique. Lastly the bunkers at the course actually have sand in them and lots of it which golfers can appreciate since bunkers are the most common area of criticism at a course. FOOD I was fortunate enough to golf this course on Sunday morning which meant that after my round I got to experience one of Edinburghs famous Sunday Brunches. The food at this brunch was AMAZING!!! For this brunch you had Mini Belgium Waffles, Build your own omelets, pastries, treats, fruit, salad, golden hash brown, just to name a few. You definitely know the food is good when you go to this brunch and eat because 3/4 of the people there were non-golfers (just a bunch of families). The brunch was so incredible that Ill be making plans to drive the 50 minutes just to partake in the brunch once again even if I wont be golfing and Ill be sure to bring a friend. SUMMARY & THOUGHTS I golf on average 3-5 rounds per week at some of Minnesotas top public courses throughout the Twin Cities and I always look to golf somewhere new. Out of all those courses this is by far one of my top 2 favorite courses. It offers a variety of challenging and scenic holes and the condition of the course is second to none. Also, the beauty of the clubhouse and practice facilities are amazing! The only course that has a better clubhouse and practice facility in the state of Minnesota is Hazeltine National which I was fortunate enough to golf last year. I highly recommend making your next tee time at Edinburgh USA and if you golf on a Sunday be sure to try the brunch because you wont regret it... Unless you over eat and have another round to play within the hour later that day which I did but it was still worth it. I can see why this course was chosen to host LPGA Tour events in the past and Im shocked it hasnt hosted one in quite some time. Its most certainly conditioned for it!

Friendly staff, but the course is way overpriced. The price I was charged was $20 more than the confirmation email price. The fairways are ridiculously tight. By hole 13th hole I was so frustrated that I started teeing off with a long iron instead of driver. But half the fun of golf is pounding the big stick! Course was in ok condition. But for similar price id play rush creek or Bunker hills any day. I wont be playing Edinburgh again. On a similar note, I did have my wedding reception there years ago and the venue was outstanding.

Went here for a New Years Eve dinner. We were seated right away. They have a small, but nice tap beer selection. Beverage costs are average. The menu was very limited for this night with a choice of steak, chicken, pork and sea bass. The one thing I dont like is when everything is À la cart. This made for a very expensive evening. I dont believe well be back here for another New Years Eve. Which is a shame because we had a wonderful time a few years ago.

Extremely challenging course with many different styles incorporated. Professionals are great and practice facilities are one of the best in the state! Be ready to be challenged and use every club and shot you have, but it will be more than worth it in the end!

It used to be a great course with nice and friendly golfers, not anymore. Many foul moused young golfers with bad attitude who have forgotten their golf etiquette. Stay away specially during twilight hours if you want to golf out with family and friends!

Always well maintained. Always lots of events here. This is one of the most difficult courses in Minnesota I believe. Also nice to be able to get a bucket of balls, go do some chipping in the back and finish them off on the driving range.

Challenging course design and golf. Front 9 lis more links and water. Back 9 is wooded with two challending water holes. This coursse does not forgive bad shots. If one can score well at this course, one can score well anywhere else.

The complete golf package for a public facility. Great layout in country club-like condition with fantastic restaurant. Relaxed environment and friendly staff. Tough test but fair. Among the best greens in the Twin Cities.

Terrible! They claimed only 3 holes were under construction, liars! Just about every hole on the entire course eas torm up. Definitely not worth the discounted price of $53. Maybe next year when its back to normal.

A Minnesota legacy course. Beautiful course, nice clubhouse and event center; friendly, helpful staff. Been here for several golf events and a few wedding receptions. Never fails to deliver.

Always enjoy playing here. Staff is always friendly. Girvan Grille is always good to stop in for a beer and/or lunch. This is a must stop for Minnesota golf.

Beautiful course and challenging lay out. Pace of play was a little slow. Finished a round in 5 hours. We found ourselves waiting to tee off on every hole.

I used to be a brunch regular but its not what it used to be... theres no more breakfast buffet and the prices a la carte are not worth the trip.

Had lunch at their restaurant, food was good, service was good. Not sure if the food was worth the premium price.

This course shines arrogance. Full of overly done, gimmicky and ridiculously hard holes.
