Second time here in two years, first time I paid the $65 and was happy, this time we found a group golfer and only paid $36 it was a good time but the course wasnt in great shape. Not all fault to the course and I know its a holiday weekend but the level of pretentious you feel oozing out of most people golfing here is pretty off putting. No one fixes ball marks, no one replaced divots, and every bunker was a mess and our three some was firmly planted behind a two some who didnt have much golf experience, lots of practice swings and chasing the ball all over the course. Im all for beginners learning but part of the game is etiquette and these guys had none. At literally every single tee box we pulled up before they had finished teeing off with no one in front of them to wait as they took quite a few shots to get out of range. There was no conversation, no offer of playing through just look down put their club in the bag and drive away, this went on from hole 10-18 with no help from the ranger which we saw drive around but not close enough to flag down. Again I know this group is no representative of the course but the ranger should have moved them along or allowed us and possibly the group behind us to play through these guys and open up the course a little bit. Range was in bad shape Id say 5/10 is a generous rating on that, club house and facilities looked pretty good, carts are nice, practice green looks good, and 8-9/18 greens on the course look pretty good but Id say at least 10 of the greens were in fair to poor condition, tee boxes were all in pretty rough shape. If I had paid full price this time around I wouldnt have been a happy camper, last three holes are beautiful but the first 15 are pretty lackluster in my opinion, good golf but nothing to take your breath away or make me think this is a must play course. If you can get in for under $40 and Id say play it 2 times and then you can decide for yourself what you think everyone is looking for something different in a course.

I had a great experience as a professional working a wedding event at Greystone. I sent this letter to them shortly thereafter. Hi, I just wanted to give props to your staff. I deejayed for your October 18th bride and groom. For starters the club and the grounds looked beautiful. It was a bit chilly for an outdoor reception but theyll be glad when the pictures arrive. The inside of your club looked great. It was elegant but intimate because the rural setting really gave it a cozy feel. There are several elegant places but being both elegant and comfortable is a nice match up. As a guy thats deejayed over 1000 weddings I have a good eye for venue layouts. Your layout lends itself to a good party with the bar inside and near the dance floor. In addition having the entertainment across from the head table but centered in the room is a big plus too. Lastly Ill address the food and staff. The bride paid for us vendors to have a meal and I was honored and excited both. Ive dined at every top venue in Metro Detroit and can tell you without a doubt your food was as good as some of the best places Ive eaten. The Crabcake was divine as was the filet and the chicken. In addition your servers were polite and friendly and they actually smiled. What a nice experience it was deejaying at your club. I just wanted to say congrats for a job well done.

Was one of the nicer golf courses that Ive played this season. Except the starter was a bit of a pain following us around the course to enforce the cart path rule. Even tho he never told us that we have to stay on the path. Not to mention the manager or whoever he was. Was very unpleasant and pretty rude. We tried to get a hotdog at the turn where he confronted us telling us to hurry up. How r we supposed to hurry when we have to walk to look for our ball? We finished 18 with three of us golfing in alil over 4 1/2 hours. Not one group was hitting into us to justify them trying to speed us up.

Greystone was so good to us and helped make our wedding the success that it was! Almost every compliment I received after my wedding was about how delicious the food was! "We have never had wedding food be so good!" The venue coordinators were a pleasure to work with and offered any help they could to help make our day beautiful and to run smoothly. The ceremony site has a perfect view and pictures turn out beautiful! I would recommend Greystone to any upcoming wedding couple looking for a venue for their ceremony and reception! :)

I dont know why these people keep complaining about a ranger making them keep up the pace. Its golf and just like you are out there to enjoy your self so is the whole course. One bad group holds everyone up and delays they whole course. If you want to take your time and play a 5+ hour round go to a municipal course not a nice course. Keep up the good work and the people who say they wont come back because of that wouldnt be regular golfers there anyways

Mothers Day brunch was wonderful. We were so impressed with all of the wait staff. The young man at the omelette station was so accommodating. When my young children asked if there was any bacon to put in their omelettes, he said he could get some and immediately a co-worker retrieved some diced bacon. It was so nice to see their request honored with such pleasantness! The dining area was bright and open. We would definitely attend again.

We had our daughters wedding at Greystone Golf Club May of 2015, The venue and view of the golf course was beautiful. Olivia the event coordinator could not have been more helpful, always willing to take phone calls and answer any questions. The food was great and we had so many compliments after the wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to have a great experience for any special occasion.

Great Course and finishing Holes. Great test of Golf skills. They offer discount rates during the week if you have time to golf then. Thankful the rangers keep others on track that are slowing play for the rest of us. Played there several times in the past two years. Planning on having our golf league outing there this year. Looking forward to it.

I cannot begin to measure the generosity and hard work I experienced while working with the wedding team members and coordinators at Greystone! They are truly masters at what they do - I was blown away the day of my wedding. I cant think of one thing that brings an unhappy thought to me - thank you Greystone!

Beautiful course. They keep the pace of play going too, which I love... beer selection at the clubhouse left a bit to be desired, but they had delicious turkey sandwiches which is a welcomed change from hot dogs or brats at the turn.

Great weekday and twilight rates. Greens and Fairways are in impeccable condition. Plus you cant beat the weekday and Twilight specials. I would highly recommend to anyone.
