The owner and staff may throw you out or call the police if you bring in drink or food. I used to go there with my son for a Saturday morning league that had 24 three person teams. There were many problems with this house run league. I once tried to buy something from the snack shop, but they were too busy dispensing the meager piece of pizza and small cup of pop that went with the kid’s league. When I went out to my vehicle and got the remainder of an MRE (Meal Ready to Eat - Military ration) and 1/2 of a 24 ounce bottle of diet dew I was told to leave or buy from the snack shop. When I told them that the snack shop wouldnt serve me, I was told to purchase something from the vending machines or they would call the cops. I refused and said I was going to stay put and watch my son bowl. The cops werent called. There were two other incidents involving guest bowlers and the awarding of trophies that caused me to decide to have my son bowl at Lake Shore Lanes the next season. The last time I was there was for an outing for my sons soccer team. Here we were on Saturday morning bringing in 40+ people for an outing including drinks and pizza. They actually made mention that one of the organizers brought in a cup of coffee from McDonalds and asked her to throw it away. I also noticed that same Saturday morning league had shrunk from 24 teams to only 10 teams. None of my family has ever gone back there since.

Its February 24,2017. Just called to ask a few questions about open bowling and the employee was so rude I couldnt believe it. I was very polite and she hung up right in the middle of my conversation and I had my 4 year old daughter in the car outside in the parking lot wanting to bowl. Never will attempt to go there again. Seriously rude. If I was the owner she would be fired immediately treating customers like that. So if ownership sees this review it was friday at 12:05 pm. I could tell it was busy obviously from the full parking lot but just wanted to know what i could do and she said something about a list and as I was asking what to do she hung up!!! 0 stars if I could.

Nice place...except... My daughter wanted to go bowling for her 18th birthday. Simple, impromptu family outing. Chose this place because we had been there once and its close to home. We walked in with a few balloons and a small bday cake. 3 different staff people told us "no cakes unless you set up a party through us etc". We were disappointed but we stayed. Thought they were too strict. There were only a few other people there and our group spent money on food and drinks. They could have allowed us to sing happy birthday and cut a small cake!

Hourly rates for open bowling are favorable for single bowlers. Technology was the most advanced in the Shores for me, guys next to me had a little difficulty with their machine.. Ball rolled well, lady at the desk was able to move me a few lanes over from a group of kids, which I appreciated. Very tough left turn out of the parking lot at certain times of the day, and the kitchen/bar only seems open during busy times.

It was a good place to bowl, staff that I encountered were nice and helpful. But the bowling leagues went over their time. We were in the bar for a while when waiting and a lot of the people in there who had been drinking started picking fights with people. I still had a good time though.

A group of friends and I wanted to try something different Friday night. Decided to give Shore Lanes a shot and had a great time. We did "Galactic" bowl and had some food and drinks. It was very affordable, a good environment and friendly management. I would recommend this place.

This place is the best! They are always helpful when I come in with my kids. Most other places are rude if you dont know the "how tos" of bowling, but not shore lanes. There place is clean and there Galactic bowling rocks. I will definitely be back again
