I used to bowl at Lakeshore Lanes when I was in high school way back in 1970s. Jim has actually been there since 1950 ! when they used to have pin boys setting up the pins and returning the ball for you. Since then he has remodeled the place and has added lanes. Jim is knows the business and is very freindly. To the comment that he is racist..nothing could be further from the truth. If you are going to play that card then say exactly and I mean exactly what was racist about your experience there. I does not mean they are a racist just because you happen to be a minority and bad service...... and no I and not related to Jim or personal friends.

Jim and his sister have owned the place for years. Although being quite frugal, Jim keeps the place clean and friendly. Actually the location used to be a market (still has the old overhead skylight that opens with a chain. The original eight lanes are on the right and the other eight were added after Jim bought out another business. The only real problem is that lanes one and 16 are right up against the wall that can cause problems for some bowlers. Jim also is an adept in his small pro shop and does almost all of my ball work.

Small but cozy... Very very nice and very professional people. It is a really great family atmosphere, with out the real large packed in bowling alley scenario. Their rates are pretty reasonable considering the pricing of the other bowling alleys in the area. Their pricing on equipment is cheaper then a lot of their competitors in the area.

The owners are fabulous and remember you from visit to visit. They have special lightweight balls for the kids. Smoke free, alcohol free environment is a great place to take your kids without having to worry about what they will be exposed to. Clean, convenient, good family fun! Highly recommended for family outings and school field trips!

I have my sons birthday party here, they have a great party room with tables and chairs that is private so your guests whom arent bowling can sit and mingle while the kids bowl. This is where you eat your pizza and cake and open presents. Its a fantastic price too. My son loved his birthday! I cant wait for this year!

Compared to other bowling alleys in the area, this one has the best prices! The lady the works at the front is for helpful and sweet. The only difference between here and the expensive bowling alleys is first of all the shoes are more worn out. It is also less intimate because lanes are closer together.

We had an issue with our lane, no ones fault just mechanical error and the guy working was so nice(my husband and son and I went for his birthday) he basically just leaned against the wall and fixed it every time it messed up so my son could keep playing

My granddaughter had her 16th birthday party here. Lakeshore did a really nice job to accommodate all her friends. We were able to order pizza and we were able to bring in relish and fruit trays.

Feels like home to me, I am from a very small town our bowling alley only had 6 lanes. This place had that homey feel no crazy lighting or cavernous building good and cheap bowling.

Always good service and fair prices. No booze, but it keeps the drunkards away. Leagues tend to run long, but I understand returning customers are where the money is.
