Personally worked at Thunder Alley. First I would like to start by saying a lot has changed there, and there are workers that do go the extra mile to make sure everyone is having a good time, good food, and a good experience at the business. I personally checked on customers, cleaned counters after EVERYONE was finished eating (which was very lacked) and tried to do all I could to keep every customer happy. The owner I wouldnt give a fifth of a star.. She always had an additude with me. Always degraded my work and just kept me on edge my whole shift. I wanted a job there since I was 15 years old and 3 years later I got it - But I will never ever give them one lend of hand after my experience working there. I busted my a** and I never got one bit of recognition from the one person who should be keeping morale up. Taran and Allison Ive always seen working hard, very energetic, and very tidy with theyre stations and work. I never had a problem with asking for help (from them). The owner (Geri) needs a wake up call to how she treats customers and employees before she loses that place. I loved my job, and unfortunately had a few health issues that kept me from working - Chronic bronchitis and fevers killed my ethic and I had to call in.. Unfortunately I feel Ive let myself down being that I had to call in because I have no problem working. Now, my final note - Working for somebody who only degrades your work and never makes you feel like your doing a good job really bit me. No balance of criticism to atta boy - really was a let down. I encourage everyone to support the business though, and all the other employees there as they go through their daily struggle of working for that woman..

DO NOT GO TO THIS BOWLING ALLEY! Take the extra mile to go to Gainesville or Lake City. There was so many things that went horrible tonight. When I went to buy food I ordered Cheddar Bites for 4.50c... They gave me 10 or less bite size peices with MOZZARELLA cheese. I went to tell the lady behind the register about this and she responded with "Yeah that is cheddar. Thats how it is honey" and was very rude about the whole thing. Having to pay almost five bucks for grease bites did not leave me very happy. Last time I went I thought she was having a bad day, but when this happened and she was acting the same way, I realized shes always rude and inconsiderate. Later on, a person in the group I was with had accidently thrown the bowl in the next lane over. Here that lady come with an attitude. Shes yelling like we cant hear to stop doing that..... When she knows that this was the first time. She was plain out horrible. I was completely nice each time I talked to her because I figured she would be easy on us, but NO. She was still rude and uncouth. She never once smiled. I just couldnt believe how horrible the service she was giving me was. I left after the first frame of the second round. I was contemplating leaving before that though. How can you have a good time with friends and family with horrible impolite service? You cant. I will never go there again, nor recommend anyone to go there. It was horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE. And on another note: The entire place was dirty. The balls were completely filthy. As was the restrooms, and the counters were you purchase food. just nasty.

I went a few years ago, taking a family member who bowls on leagues down in Southern Florida, plus my 4 year old and my mother. I did not know bowl because at the time I had carpal tunnel. The lady at the front counter who had her face in a book was just unprofessional, rude, lacked any manners. She barked orders, instead of talking to other people she was screaming at them because she thought they were doing something wrong. How about, walking up to them and speaking to them in a professional and polite way. She acted like it was a bother to wait on us. My SIL asked a couple of questions because she likes bowing, like I said was in leagues. The way the "lady" answered was just rude or not at all. She had the glare down pat. The worst for us when she snapped at my 4 year old "What you dont know your size already? How OLD are you?" I told her my daughter was 4 and that she wasnt used to someone yelling at her. That shut her up but we got glares. When she tried to tell us we did something wrong, my SIL told her I have bowled for decades in many leagues, tell me again what we did wrong. It was a last visit for us. We just couldnt get over how hateful and nasty that woman was. So we started to bowl in Lake City. I did hear that it changed hands or management. We are rethinking our decision to go here because we would love to support the local businesses. If it was anything remotely like before I would never support that business again. If we notice a difference I will edit this post!

This is the best entertainment in Live Oak. Me and my fiance William often go several times a week. We are also on one of their bowling leagues. We both love this bowling alley. The snack bar is also good with low-cost refills. Our favorite menu item is the the nacho chips with cheese for only about $2. The other snack bar items are comparably priced. We think this is the best place in Live Oak to spend time with friends or family. Kids can bowl for free on some evenings. For adults, the best night is currently Friday night when you can bowl as many games as you like from 8 PM to 11:30 PM for only $10 a person.

Today, We went to Thunder Alley. The place is clean but the staff is very RUDE! My sister ordered a medium Sweet Tea,which wasnt a Medium, more like a super small, and when she brought it back down to drink is she realized there was sweet tea all over the table, she whipped the cup and it had a hole in it, so i went up and kindly asked for another tea and one of the employees grabbed the cup with the hole in it and her solution was to put it the cup with the hole in it into another cup and handed it back to me. Plus, there was more freakin ice in the cup then there was tea, i wont be going here again!

I have been bowling here off and on for a couple years and am done. Management is rude and doesnt wish to be bothered with requests. Establishment is dirty and management often reads books or watches movies instead of cleaning. Lanes break regularly, balls get scratched and gouged. By the way, review from Josh Carter is from a family member of management. Hey folks, new management made a huge difference here. The new owners are nice and happy to see customers. They care and they try. Come in and give your support.

My family and I went to this establishment this evening 2-12-17 which included my 2 sons 11 an 12yrs old and 2yr old, husband and myself. It was clean but there were very young teenagers hanging out outside drinking and some inside at the counter using foul language. An on top of that it was sooo hot inside we played 1 game and we were so miserably hot we just left. For it to supposedly be family oriented no its not it is just a hang out for young adolescents!!!
