Im writing this review as a professional in the wedding business with more then 25 years of experience as a Photographer, I have shot over 2000 Weddings and have been inside literally every Venue all over Michigan. With that said I shot a Wedding at Lakeland Manor this past weekend and as always the food and the staff was top notch. Im not one to discuss challenging Brides I believe its not professional and you arent always going to get classy, kind or even happy people. This particular wedding I had the pleasure (lol) of dealing with the MOST rude unhappy bride I have ever dealt with in my entire career, this was so difficult for myself and my staff of 4 to endure however we made it to the hall with a feeling of relief thinking this Bride will be easier to deal with once she arrives to her Venue to have a cocktail and have a good time. Well that did not happen she now became the ever so rude Bride to now give her unattractive behavior to this hall and all its staff. I have to say the staff and the management were outstanding they were attentive they kept their cool and they delivered a perfect wedding to a bride that in my opinion was absolutely the true definition of a BRIDEZILLA. These reviews are always about the venue, photographer, florist, disc jockey, bakery does anyone ever think of the people and how the range of difficulty it can be dealing with people that you just cant make happy? People that you bend over backwards for deal with for months sometimes years before their event and you realize that some people are just bitter,angry and sadly at times never satisfied. My hats off to Lakeland Manor to its staff and Management for enduring 6.5 hours of a Bride that clearly was incapable of happiness. Oh and Brides and Grooms when you book a photographer for the entire day which usually with travel time is about 6 to 12 hours you might want to include them in your head count for a meal. Sad that we now have to put that in our contracts.

I absolutely love lakeland manor, I regularly have parties and small events there and they always do an amazing job. Compliments to the chef, I have never once had food that didnt feel home cooked. The green beans will ruin you, I would pay for them to cook for me. The staff is attentive, polite, hard working and always willing to serve. Once I step inside I feel a warm welcome by their staff and the management. I have always been treated better than any other banquet hall. My guests have praised the hall and since then have held many events there. We do a Christmas party and you can feel the joy in the room. Management has always been an amazing experience. The owners are very professional and try to go the extra mile for their customers. I cant wait till our next event with them and I would definitely encourage anyone who wants a loving atmosphere with amazing food to come on down.

I was at a Wedding this evening at Lakeland Manor it was Fabulous to say the least. The food was delicious!! The dinner was served family style the salad was perfect not to much dressing and was a mix of romaine and spinach their Italian dressing was excellent, then came the pasta it was Bow tie Alfredo seriously best Ive ever had. The main course was Chicken Parmesan, it was Fabulous, Roast Beef was very good Wedge Potato and green beans please I have to know what they put in those beans absolutely addicting!!!!!!! I give the food a 10 the waitstaff Exceptional. The hall is really Beautiful to be honest I was pleasantly surprised how fantastic every thing was. Usually you are disappointed in something at a wedding and I can honestly say I cant say one negative thing. I would highly recommend this Venue.

My fiancé and I went there about a week and a half ago to look at it and when we walked in they were so nice and full of good energy. We got to look around and see what it would look like set up as a wedding reception. When we told them our theme and day of the wedding she got so excited and even told her sister when she came in the room with the pricing packet. Last Tuesday my fiancé and his mom went to go book the hall cause that was the one he wanted to so I said, "lets book it" and I guess the day before we went back some of their staff was asking to work our wedding. That made me feel so good and happy knowing that there were people who wanted to work outlet wedding and help make our day special. Highly recommend this place.

Lakeland Manor began as an exciting place to begin the rest of our lives. As we decided to put the wedding on hold due to finances, we called every vendor including Lakeland Manor. Nearly 7 months before, we contacted the site and told us we would not receive a deposit back. I understand that, as there is risk with every choice in life. One month before the old scheduled date, Lakeland Manor brought my fiances father in and told him he had to pay 4500, which was the remainder of the balance for the reception hall. After being contacted and given a written request, Lakeland Manor has dropped the ball. Avoid this place, even though they were nice at first, it seems like theyre lacking organizational skills.

Lakeland Manor is the most outstanding venue you can attend. I recently was there for a work Christmas Party as I do every year on December 23 and all I can say is that I felt as if I was attending a party in my own home. The waitstaff was just fantastic, the food was out of this world amazing, especially the Chicken Piccata and Italian Sausage. I couldnt say anymore on how mind blown I was about this event. The management and staff really out did their selves this year and I hope they keep up the amazing work. Thank you so much Lakeland Manor for another great event.

The staff is brilliant, I cannot tell you how many praises I get from our guests everytime we hold our parties. The food is fantastic, it will make you want them to cook home meals for you. We always get the chicken, pasta, green beans and potatoes and are never disappointed. The staff is always attentive and willing to serve you. You can feel the energy and life the moment you step in the door. Nichole is amazing, she is the face of the company and always is welcoming and professional. If you need a place to host an event you cant go wrong with lakeland manor.

Night the Fox

So we frequently have birthday parties and Christmas parties at this place. All of her friends and family come together and celebrate each others birthdays and the special holiday. The food is always what you would expect from a family establishment. I cannot praise Chef Paul enough. In addition, Nikki is amazing at her job and willing to work with you on making your events shine. The staff members are always running to your needs and are very friendly. If youre going to go with anybody make it Lakeland Manor, we did.

Lakeland Manor not only does for their clients but the way they give back to the community is so heart warming. As part of the St. Clair Shores community I have been apart of cops for kids the last 5 years along with Jimmy and Nicole Narha. They give back so much and make sure to call upon other business owners to be apart of such a phenomenal charity. I belive this year over 300 kids in our community received Christmas gifts from hats, gloves, toys, food and gift cards. Thank you, LAKELAND MANOR!!!!
