Appalachian Farms was amazing. They catered to our every need and had suggestions for anything they could provide to us. Sarah Claire, the owner, was very attentive and had such a positive attitude. Lots of venues will charge you left and right for the use of their decorations or whatnot, but the Farm has a rule, that it the decoration was donated from a previous wedding, then you can use it at not charge! The Farm recommended our coordinator, Penny, who was fabulous! We couldnt have done it without her. Although she is a "day of" coordinator, she contacted us in the weeks before the wedding to make sure she had all the information as well as understanding EXACTLY what we wanted. I would highly recommend Penny. Jennifer was so, so great! She made our vision come to life with her decorating talents. She listened to exactly what we were looking for, and made the decorations happen. We had the most beautiful wedding thanks to her. We also used the Farm as our caterer. Victor, the cook, makes the most AMAZING pulled pork and bbq chicken and smoked Gouda mac n cheese. We are still getting compliments about the food. The venue itself is so unbelievably unique and beautiful. You absolutely cannot beat the location and the barn itself. You wont find anything like it. I would definitely consider this for your future wedding! You wont be disappointed!!

I recently hosted a high school reunion at Appalachain Farm Weddings and it could not have been more perfect. I live out of town and did not even visit the venue before the day of the event. Sarah and John go above and beyond to make sure your event is perfect in every way. Their staff were kind, personable, and professional. The venue is beautiful and no detail has been overlooked. The venue handled our catering and our group loved it all, especially the pulled pork and Gouda Mac and Cheese! Our guests loved the venue and had nothing but great things to say over the course of the evening. I cant think of a single negative and am already hoping our next reunion can be there! Thank you, Sarah and John for sharing your beautiful spot with our group, exceeding our expectations, and going the extra mile for our class 10 year reunion!

I cant say enough great things about this beautiful venue! My daughter and her new husband were married there on September 20, 2015. John and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was perfect! Our guests were amazed at the beauty of the farm and some even said that they loved it so much, they didnt want to leave! I am in the wedding industry in Western North Carolina so I see a lot of rustic, barn wedding venues. This venue is beautiful and you couldnt ask for any nicer hosts than John and Sarah. In my opinion, if you are looking for a beautiful barn venue, this one is the best in the area!

Our daughter was married here and what a beautiful venue. Despite the thunderous rain during the service (indoor in the barn) everyone loved how gorgeous the barn and surrounding land is. The indoor space is like a fairyland and the outdoor area has a small dance floor, a covered place for the bluegrass band and tables and chairs. We had sun and rain but no one cared and everyone loved it. The staff went out of their way to assure the couple that their day was special and indeed it was. Wonderful space for a wedding! Too bad I have run out of children to marry! ;-)

We couldnt have picked a more perfect venue! The property is beautiful with a ton of great photo ops and the setting is relaxed and quaint. John and Sarah far exceeded our expectations too. They were so accommodating with anything we wanted/needed and went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we dreamed of. We cant thank them enough! Wed pick Appalachian Farm Weddings again and again and recommend it to anyone whos looking for the perfect venue!

I perform weddings all over this area, and this is easily one of the nicer venues that Ive been to. Its very quaint feeling, even though it can easily accommodate well north of 100 guests. The upstairs loft, where everyone was seated for dinner, is just fantastic. The lack of air conditioning is something to be aware of during the summer months, but it wasnt uncomfortably hot. The staff there are incredibly well-organized and helpful as well!

Attended a wedding here on Saturday! It was beautiful. Very rustic and the setting was amazing. A few bugs during the ceremony but to be expected on a farm! Great setup they have!
