Though Im not a huge fan of the park itself, I do love coming just to visit and hike around the nature area trails that are here. Its not very big and its not fancy but the scenery is great(or at least I think its great).I generally see something new or see it better then the last time I saw it every time I come. Bird viewing is actually really good here and its not uncommon to see a rare bird come through from time to time. For the last few Springs their has been a pair of breeding Great Horned Owls which can be easily viewed from a resectable distance. Tons of deer roam freely and its also easy to spot them at a much closer then normal range before they would typically run. The Marsh area is really pretty at sunset and the muskrats are a dime a dozen along with frogs and turtles. If you look closely and its the right time of year/day you could see a few different species of snakes. Wild flowers are very beautiful if you come in season. This is all dependent on how quite you are and how much you want to see something. Enjoy!!
