Great park - smaller beach, decent wave action, great view, play areas for small and big kids, laid back family crowd, big pavilion, and nice grassy areas. Just off a cute, tiny downtown with some shops and restaurants. Good for a mini road trip if you live about an hour away like me. We made it here the same weekend as the Selfridge AF base show and got to see some of the cool formations. It was busy with people at the park, but not overwhelming and crazy. Wish the bathrooms were bigger.

Nice clean park. Visited this place recently during the Fishfly Festival. Theres a nice section of sandy beach for sunbathing and swimming. Plenty of picnic tables and a few trees for shade. Looked like a good spot to do some fishing from the dock that runs along the water. Nice playground for the kids too.

I have been to this park a lot of times over the years, it has really changed a lot in the past 5 years with a new pavilion, a new playset, a newer pier and a missing water tower soon to be replaced with Michigans tallest flagpole. It also has a small marina for floating right up to the park.

Clean, comfortable, safe, perfect variety of activities and spaces for anyone: Play areas, covered and open picnic areas, clean bathrooms/changing areas, fishing, swimming, boat docks, shopping, food, drinks, volley ball... I believe kayak rentals will soon be offered nearby.

This is a lovely lakeside park with decent landscaping and amenities. Im not sure why they felt the need to extensively light the park and then close it at dusk, however.

Nice park with bathrooms and several play areas. Beach is clean has buoys dividing shallow and deep areas. Has lifeguards on duty. Definitely will be back.
