I went and saw Into the Wild with a group of friends and we had a blast, although the theater itself wasnt what I expected. Its a dinky and cozy theater with very limited seating and the stage is only raised about six inches and if you sit in the front row you could probably reach out and touch the actors. Its definitely a theater for smaller productions. But we loved it! It was super cute and theres lots of cute shops in the area to visit. The actors were all super talented and I highly recommend seeing a show here. You wont be disappointed!

What a hidden gem in Dexter. Our community continues to grow, yet retains its small town feel. The Encore Theater compliments that charm. The plays are professionally produced with talented actors/vocalists in an enjoyable smaller venue that allows you to feel like you are front row and center at a major production in a big city. Come to Dexter for dinner and enjoy a professional musical after.

Just saw Camelot at Encore and it was great! The lead singers were very good, the scenery and staging very well done, overall a marvelous production. We will definitely come back again! Wouldve given Encore 5 stars, but the seats were pretty hard for a long show.

One of the most "intimate" theatres I have ever been too. It is half the size, if not smaller, than the average size lecture hall. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The seat were just chairs. I was not a fan of the play we saw.

Ive seen two plays at the Encore, "The Full Monty" and "Camelot". The actors were exceptional in both plays. I especially enjoyed "Camelot" where the acting brought the story to life.

I went to see Camelot for a class assignment and I enjoyed it. Tickets are a little pricey but the play was good and acting was impressive.
