Wow. Only these words could come out of my mouth when coming to this place. I have been rock climbing for years now, and the second I stepped into this gym, I was disgraced, insulted and was spoken to extremely rudely. First off, the employee didnt even want to give me my own equipment because they did not believe I had ever rock climbed before and made it obvious that they felt I was not physically able to. I am in better shape and more physically fit than 85% of the people there. I swear these employees were sexist. Not once, but 3 times was I asked if I knew how to belay and hold somebody, because I am a teenage girl. When I had asked somebody a question later on, I was insulted by the person telling me that they would not help me because it would be "illegal" to answer her question because what I was asking was supposed to be learned in the class, which I did take before. So I was supposed to pay an extra $15 to take a class I already took, just for a simple question that could be answered with a yes or no? Well do you know what should be illegal? Employees discriminating against the fact that I am a teenage girl, and all they did was insult me, and think that I was an incompetent fool. I was even approached by a worker while on the floor asking if I even knew what I was doing. It would be different if they politely asked if you needed help but instead I was talked to rudely and felt unwelcomed. Even the "regulars" who go there are rude. Do not go to the Worcester Gym.

I love this place. I became a member when it first opened and had to move away for work. I came back to climb during winter break this past year. It was nice to see the gym was still extremely clean and had received several updates. The climbs are color coded by the holds now, which used to be my one and only complaint. I really like the new colors on the walls as well. I was somewhat expecting to walk back into the same gym I left, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they have not only kept things up to date, but also improved.

We visited a few years ago and were basically hooked from the start. We became members that night or the next! They compare very favorably to all the other gyms weve visited in state and out, and (in our opinion) beat all but the other gyms under the CRG name. We both love the variety of routes, frequency of change, creativity in setting, colored holds vs. tape, variety of music, events, classes, and members. In short, we highly recommend it!!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Worcester CRG. It is a great space for anyone and especially those interested in wanting to learn to climb. **FOR BIKERS** I want to also give a shoutout to team members Hank, Adam, Tyler and Joey! I addressed my concerns about leaving my bicycle outside and they acquired a VERY heavy duty bike rack which was beyond my expectations and found me a short term solution in the mean time. Amazing place!

This gym is awesome. All of the staff are really friendly and patient. For one of the smaller gyms, they still have a huge amount of variety. They reset fairly often too, so theres usually something new to climb. This gym is also a great value. Getting the membership allows you to have access to all of their gyms. Even if you couldnt climb much, getting a CRG membership would be more beneficial than a membership at a traditional gym.

CRG is an excellent climbing gym with a variety of styles of climbing available. The membership provides a high value in that it gives you access to the collective of gyms under the CRG name and all of the services they offer. There is an excellent atmosphere and most people are considerate and friendly. The staff is friendly and the gym is well maintained. Climbs are frequently changed to give you more reason to come back.

Stellar blend of rock walls and bouldering. They just opened up an entire new section of bouldering which is top notch. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Its not the biggest place in mass, but certainly the best for miles and miles around. The one downside is that their shop is pretty small. I live near a bunch of other gyms, but this is the one I call home.

Pretty good bouldering and some good climbs. Seems to be a lot if either beginner or advanced climbs without many intermediate runs. Im still pretty rusty since I havent climbed in a few years, but its definitely a really nice spot that seems well maintained and has super friendly staff. Really wish I could top out instead of climb back down/drop off the wall.

I have only been there once. The prices are pretty good. I think for the pass and all the gear it is about $25. I went with a buddy of mine and we had a blast. There are a bunch out routes which, from what I can gather, they change often enough. Friendly staff and a fun environment. I plan on going back real soon

They do a good job at changing up the routes and the place is kept clean. My boys have had their birthday parties there and had a great time. During one of the though the birthday room was also the staff break room and it was quite the mess that we had to clean prior to using it. Other than that great facility!

Big gym with a variety of routes. My only complaint is the condition of the holds. I found that most of the holds on the wall climbs were old and greasy. Hard to climb hard when your feet slip and need to chalk up every ten feet. Might be time to recycle their inventory.

I just had my sons 7th Birthday party here and the facility and staff are awesome. My son and 13 of his friends climbed for an hour and half, then they were able to have some pizza and cup cakes in the spacious event room. Great place!

Good gym- route setting is good, extensive boulder, top-rope and lead sections. Two fitness areas for cardio and cross training have let me cancel my Planet Fitness membership and go CRG full time!

An incredible gym with the best community of climbers anywhere. The kindest coolest people Ive ever met have been at central rock gym. An awesome place to have fun and meet awesome people.

A great chain of Gyms. The Worcester version is definitely in the top ten. Now, with the expansion, the gym is less crowded during the busiest hours, and bouldering is more diverse.

Staff is friendly and they usually run deals for new memberships. Even if its busy there are always routes to climb. They have a good collection of workout equipment as well.
