This 9 hole public course is always fun to play! It is kept in excellent shape ! The greens, fairways and tees are well maintained. There are some tricky reads on the greens especially on holes 2,3 and 8. There are many hilly lies on the course which makes for a challenge. Playing this course is a worthwhile experience. I wish they had a second nine to go with the first nine!

Mike Ataide is an idiot. This is a classic old New England tract and a good and fair test of golf for a short course. The course is well maintained for a local muni and is home to many fine golfers. Those who do not appreciate its charms should find some cookie cutter layout in Arizona or some place and leave the real golfers to appreciate this nine hole gem.

I play weekend afternoons as a single. Easy to get out. #2. is the hardest long Par 3s Ive seen...into the stiff prevailing wind. #4 is the lone par 5...long and blind to reach the green on second shot. Dogleg at #6 is a risk/reward, and a tough birdie. Other holes are interesting...only #3 is flat. Try the elevated tee on #1.

This is a very interesting golf course. The whole city of Salem is flat as a pancake, but this golf course is super hilly. The greens, fairways, and teeboxes are well maintained. The rough is very patchy and in some spots, dead. This course is a good spot for a easy 9 holes.

This 9 hole Ross designed course is well maintained. The course utilizes the New England granite laden landscape into its design. Every hole is unique, each with its own set of hazards which can test a golfers skills. This is a fun public course to play.

This is a very fun course that is kept in very good condition. And you cant beat their breakfast and lunch specials. $42 for two for 9 holes riding and that includes a breakfast sandwich, sausage, bacon or ham egg and cheese on an English muffin.

I havent played every course on the North Shore, but I do enjoy this one. It is not the best, but it is a good layout with not too difficult for us once-in-a-while golfers. You get a chance to hit every club. The price is good. Fun to walk.

Great municipal course. 9 holes ranging in difficulty with hazards and such, cart paths are rugged. Low greens fees, and usually open tee times just dont expect fast play. Early bird, weekday and Salem resident specials.
