A gorgeous piece of History, and home to the last Heavy Cruiser, the USS Salem. Dedicated staff that keeps the ship looking nice and provides Educational Tours. Definitely a must-see in the Quincy area, and its pretty hard to miss if youre driving down Route 3A over the fore River Bridge.

The USS Salem, the only surviving WW II-era US heavy cruiser, shes now part of the American "Museum Fleet". The Salem was built right here, at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, back in 1945.
