Beautiful park and got a nice nature feel in the dead center of the city beautiful landscape and nice park and basketball court and on christmas a beautiful display of lights for no charge to visit done by local highschool students..and random activity s thru out the summer...take a walk or relax an breathe....despite what people may say of this beautiful historic city its home and just like any where in life you mind ur bussiness and enjoy yourself the most ull get is a guy asking for a ciggerette or change....thatll be in any cityyy any where....new bedford is beautiful and it is home nomatter where you are from...it has that vibe

Playground and sprinklers in summer. They have a basketball court. Nice grounds and beautifully decorated at Christmas. The only drawback is you may run into a few drug addicts but that seems to be the case at most parks in the area.

Been going there for years and still do. Good place to go enjoy the sun or shade. There is a basketball court, kids playground and water sprinkler to keep cool and summer lunch for the kids.

Great Christmas display, some of which they still have from when I was a kid. Beautiful homes on the south side of the park facing north. Unfortunately not the best neighborhood.

Great small city park... Water drinking fountains are still shut off, but splash pad sprays water when button is pressed. Could be an ok place to meet people...

They have sprinklers for the kids basketball court and a lot of shady spots to have a picnic. Also a play area for the little ones.

Its an oasis in the middle of new bedford. A great skate park for the kids, and a breath of fresh air for the city

Great park always has shade with a nice breeze. Popular for walking dogs. Lots of benches.
