Its a nice park and beats the cell phone lot to spot the planes and wait for an arrival, but there were lots of guys going in and out of the reeds/woods, which was sketchy and put me on edge (I was also with my three year old son), especially learning afterwards that an elderly man was attacked here last year.

A lovely place to go exploring. The funny part is even with its proximity to the airport, most of the time you wouldnt even know that the airport was less than a mile away the way the crow flies.

Around a half mile of trails its a nice place to come for a walk or to bring your dog. Its scenic throughout the year. I recommend one of the canoeing trips put on by friends of belle isle.

Nice birding spot for shorebirds in the fall. Has an observation tower and a little boardwalk. Large level foot-paths through meadows and 5mins from Suffolk Downs T stop!

Nice short lap to walk the dog. Lots of dogs off leash. May be better when the tide is in and the wind is less strong.

Very pretty park with excellent paths for dogwalking. Accessible by T and also great off street parking.
