I went in and sat at the bar. There were only 2 other people sitting there. The bartender took an eternity to even look over at me. The rest of the restaurant wasnt even busy. As I was waiting one of the servers came over to me. He told me in an unfriendly way that if I dont finish my food in 40 minutes or less that I would have to pay a cover (because of a band). I try to get the attention of the bartender with a friendly "Hi!". He gives me the finger. Not the middle one! The pointer. Like, wait just a minute. Ok, folks. Thats 2 members of the staff who were unfriendly. This is why Im giving them a 0 for service. The food that I had was ok. I got the Texas BBQ Beef Brisket with baked beans and veggie of the day. The beans were the best part. The sauce on the brisket was tasty but the meat was dry. The cornbread they served with it was small but good. As I was waiting I did get a sample of the band that was about to play. It was a Latin singer with a sparkling voice. The rest of the band sounded spot on too.

My friend and I decided to go to Ryles yesterday evening for dinner. We were the only two customers inside, and stood there for about 5 minutes waiting to get greeted, as three men working behind the counter were having their own conversations. We eventually had to interrupt their conversation to ask if we could seat ourselves anywhere, which one replied yes. After that, it took the server another 5 minutes to bring us menus, another 5 to take our drink order, which at that point we decided to order our meals also since we saw where this was going. I ordered the shrimp creole, which had plenty of tasteless shrimp to go well with their just as tasteless rice. On the opposite end, my friend ordered the crab cakes which had enough salt to dangerously increase the blood pressure of the healthiest individual. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

La peor experiencia de mi vida se los digo yo le dije a la de seguridad que me marcara de otra manera porque era alérgico a la tinta y le valió luego me dio comezón y me hicieron un gran problema. Ah y me avian marcado por tener 20 ańos y no 21 y luego me salen con mierdas cuando anticipadamente les avía dicho. Les recomiendo mejor cana en east Boston súper profesionales .

Awful. Went for a Halloween event. Staff was extremely rude & unprofessional. Couldnt regulate the line which was longer than it needed to be. Paid $30 to get in & was restricted to the 1st floor only. Dealt with ignorant security & a woman who I believe was one of the owners when trying to explain the unfairness going on. Why charge someone to get in & not let them enjoy themselves. Bar tender was extremely slow, waited almost 20 minutes AFTER we ordered our drinks for them to be made. I will never come back & I wish I could get my money back. I would give negative stars if I could.

Smooth Jazz! I went out with the girls the other night. We totally had a blast, good music, laid back, chilling, had a couple of drinks, danced around ;) Overall definitely will visit again. I drank a cosmo but something wasnt quite right with it, at least the first one, after the third I dont really remember (shy)

For dancing 3/5: Honestly this place is good, but I dont enjoy the vibe for dancing. Drinks are over priced even for non alcoholic options. On the upside, I really enjoy the smaller feel and the crowd that comes here. For music 5/5: One of the best live venues around.

Just saw "No Static" there last night. They are the ultimate Steely Dan band. What was great? Assigned seating, NOT overcrowded and the band was simply amazing. Plenty of room to dance, talk and enjoy the music. Just a great time!! Thank you.

If you are looking an awesome Sunday Brunch combined with Jazz, Ryles is the place to be. Not only is it a great place for friends to hang out, they have awesome music and affordable yummy brunch!!! Everyone should check it out!!!

I like that this place offers and supports live music!!! If you go for salsa, beware that the a/c cant handle the humidity levels and the floors need a serious cleaning so youll end up with some gunk on your dance shoes.

Offering a stage for jazz, blues, and fine contemporary music this Cambridge classic should be top of your list for musical entertainment. Good food and service. Tasteful, clean ambience. Nice dance space.

The Ryles Jazz Club was a great place to eat if you like to listen to some good music and eat good food at the same time. The service is a little slow but only because it is always crowded with people.

Sunday jazz brunch at Ryles is amazing -- great musicians, great food and great drinks! The mango mimosa was fabulous and the hangover hash was delicious!
